Ok, so i just got my wimbledon ticket form back from the post (and it says due to people selling their tickets, they arent sending them through!!). I have to pick my tickets up the morning of play at gate 4 (it says they are picking random people to do this). This is absolutely pathetic, i dont want to have to queue up for ages to get my tickets when i have already payed for them. My mum is gonna ring up and complain about this lol (because the tickets are in her name). It also says you need passport/drivers license proof of id for the persons name who applied, my mum isnt going (its just me and my dad ).

So AO is the Best Major, sounds like Wimby's just retired the Worst Major award. That's insane since one buys tickets way in advance, but life can, and often does intervene. If you can't go, are you then unable to sell them to someone else?

A friend and I are going to the men's quarters day and I'm told she received the tickets by post during the week just gone.

Sorry Joe  I knew a few people who have applied for tickets through the ballot, and so far you're the only one to get a letter like this! All their tickets arrived through the post in the past 10 days or so.

Hi Joe, sounds very unfair :(

Is your mum's credit card registered in the UK? It sounds like an extra credit check?
