Hi Girls,

Sorry to interfere here (maybe...) but as I see I missed Carolinita's birthday, here is a late gift for you...

A picture of Carlos' Style Master a.k.a the Great Jeff Buckley ( as I heard you were about to be fan ;) )

no dissappearingsacts!!! shoulder injury!!No kidding Claudine! Like I would not know this!

But Carlos is a master in "staying out of sight". He can be at a tournament for 5 days and no press will have "found" him! (so, no news/pics or anything) Like now.... no news....nothing..... He's "disappeared":p

There is a saying used in case of possible "bad news": "NO NEWS" are "GOOD NEWS".
as soon as Carlos withdraws (IF he does it) you will know it. In this case the absence of news is indeed something positive.
Bad news are spread really fast.

BTW most players are not yet in Paris, except for those who will compete in the qualies.

I'm sure he'll be back.....He shouldn't rush back to the courts though.... I mean, what's the point if he plays one match and has to quit the next?!

Still, I hope his shoulder will get better...not that he has to quit like my Raffie did...He hurt his shoulder against Sampras at the US Open and it never healed properly....:sobbing:

No, lets stay positive! :D Charly is a smart guy, he'll know what's best for his body!!!

I agree with Lady_Carlita - Carlos likes to surprise. Just remember how he surprised us in one of the DC ties on the grass!

Something else:
Looks like the US Open will feature Nadal, Nalbandian and Carlos in their campaign.

http://www.lanacion.com.ar/deportiva/Nota.asp?nota_id=710733

I mean, this chatthread is almost dead! The Moya Forum has about 8 million threads that are hardly used.... what's the point?!

So, I thought, any news, carlos stories, other stories, put them here! :D That way we know where to look for the news ;)

Still no news on the shoulder. Will keep looking for it of course. No news, good news I would say.

indeed let us stay positive
in the past moya suffered many big injury's and he came always back
he is patiently, so must his fans.
he will come back, he loves tennis too much
but i am afraid it will not be at wimbledon and he will looses many points agains in entry list, last year eight final!!!! no top twenty anymore!!!!

06-10-2005, 06:59 PM

As I've said before: NO NEWS ARE GOOD NEWS.

The bad news has wings and are spread quite fast. so the absence of News is something positive.

Again like at RG I feel Carlos is going to play Wimbledon. His shoulder can't be worse than in Paris. Besides he'll have 3 weeks off, resting and getting attention in his shoulder

claudine140
06-12-2005, 08:42 AM
but on grass the service is very important, so the shoulder is under pressure, i don't think this will be good for his shoulder. Hard service meens hard work for muscles of shoulder..... too much asked from an injuryd shoulder

Carlita
06-12-2005, 09:28 AM
Well Jorge, you could be right. No news often is good news. And he's had some time off to rest. If he feels that he can play, I"m sure he'll be there. He's had to many things going on with his body, so he knows what he can and cannot do. He won't do anything foolish.

I'm sure he's not been sitting around the past weeks and that he would have someone take a look at the shoulder. Maybe even to see if there's anything that can be done to make it better again.

The supporters are fine Nathy:hug: Getting ready to go to Rosmalen. :D No Rafa, which is a shame....but Tommy's there and after 6 years I get to see Philippoussis again too. :)

:hug::hug::hug: to Carlos :smooch:

What is Rosmalen? Is it a tournment? Where about it? Luck you, Mark is also hot! I was cheering for him at Wimbledon 2003 finals cause I could see him at the champions dinner at the Savoy! But he lost and I had to see Federer only.

As we know that Carlos is going to an exhibition tournmant in Spain instead of Wimbledon, is there any spanish here going there? And what are the chances to have it brodcast by TVE international? Isn't it a huge event at Spain?

Cheers! :wavey:

Rosmalen is a place in the south of Holland, near by 's Hertogenbosch/Den Bosch. There is a grass-tournament now.

carlos will participe next weekend at sta.ponça beach at an exhibition tournament (best of 3 Tie-Breaks)

the players will be:

moya
nadal
johansson
ferrer
gasquet
lopéz
schüttler
and a majorcan Qualy

moya won it last year

and carlos will play 14, 15 and 16 of july an other exhibition tournament at Benidorm, Clay (Spain)

moya is not 100% recovered from his shoulder injury, so maybe better to play some exibitions instead of real tournements

Deco you will send Carlos a draw! That's so nice! I don't have that much talent so I just sent him a birthday card and some postcards! I said postcardS cause after sending my cards I found what I was exactly looking for! So I mailed them today. They are nice photos from some of our beaches and a satelite view from the island. The worst thing was to write something nice, I didn't have many ideas, so I wrote a kind of informal info about the places and my city. I thought that would be much easier doing that!
Hopefully he is gonna have a good time reading all our stories and support massages!
So what about you guys? What are you sending to him? S
Sorry, I'm very curious!

hehe I was thinking about that too... but not just a dolphin, I have to put carlos himself somewhere, and maybe the other players orso:unsure:

Deco you will send Carlos a draw! That's so nice! I don't have that much talent so I just sent him a birthday card and some postcards! I said postcardS cause after sending my cards I found what I was exactly looking for! So I mailed them today. They are nice photos from some of our beaches and a satelite view from the island. The worst thing was to write something nice, I didn't have many ideas, so I wrote a kind of informal info about the places and my city. I thought that would be much easier doing that!
Hopefully he is gonna have a good time reading all our stories and support massages!
So what about you guys? What are you sending to him? S
Sorry, I'm very curious!

ah so you're living at an island?:D which?

Summer in Europe has became very tropical! We saw at the news that people are suffering with the heat. I can tell you that when I was living in London I felt that I was back in home during the hot days! i hope it doesn't get too dengarous!

Well, unfortunately Carlos lost to Nadal 2x0. Moyá had 3 setpoints at the first set when it was 5x3, but Nadal recovered and won the set and than the match. However I would say that the match looked like their practice, Carlos wasn't puting too much speed on his services but he did hit some balls pretty strong. Despite losing it, it was nice to se him relaxed with no pain and very handsome in his black and white outfit.
The only thing that bored me was the fact that while Nadal was giving lots of autographs and being surround by tons of people, Carlos was just beside him sitting in his chair and nobody was asking him for photos autographs or whatever. I have to say that I felt a little bit sorry for him! Well jus a fan thing!
Take care you all!
Cheers!

Thanks Ales. I'm a bit shock that people didn't pay attention to him. That's sad. But, it was like that when he got his back injury, I remember in Roland-Garros, the year after his injury, there were only a few persons at his practrice. Well, everyone was supporting JCF !!!!

Well, when you are a fan, you support him in the best moments and in the worst moments, not only when he wins, and when he's in a good shape. Well, for me, I think Nadal is the "attraction" of the moment. Personally, he will never replace Carlos, even if Carlos is his mentor. I prefer far Carlos. Last year, when he won his tournaments, everyone was behind him etc.. Well, I hope just that the real fans of Carlos will send a postcard just to say "I'm still supporting you Carlos despite of the injuries", and won't change their "horse". Don't know if it sounds clear what I said ??

Well, I know what it is to support a player that is not popular anymore (see my website LOL), so I fell very sorry for our Carlos !! At least, all the pressure is on Nadal, and Carlos will practrice peacefully and come back. Well, JCF complained in Halle because all the journalists left because of Nadal's loss. It's the same, journalists and pseudo fans, no respect for the players. I don't like JCF, but he was right to complain. All the interest on Nadal is too much...even if I have nothing against Nadal. We'll see next year his results and if the results are not so good (which I don't hope), people will be still behind him...

Well, last "positive" thing is that it will be easier for Carlos' fans to meet him during the tournaments, cause people won't be so interested by him. Sometimes, it's an advantage :)

Val

Hi to all of you :wavey:

Val and Skjoukje: you are DAMN SO RIGHT! I totally agree with what you said about supporting in the best/worts moments! This is what I also do! Yes my fave player is Federer so what? I have been following him since 1998! He wasn't number one and so on at that time! My other favs: Charly (isn't well but no matter! I am supporting him and will send the postcard for sure, I just need to find the good one/s and the best to write) - Wawrinka (comes from my town, even if he never makes the top 50 or whatever, I'll always support him!) - Clement (Hmm... not the player he used to be but again, doesn't matter! I still cheer for him and support him) and so on...

I am a REAL fan!

Wouh, sorry but I really needed to post these little things!

Hope you are all doing wellbtw  sad that Charly lost but happy that he could play, event if not at 100% don't go too fast hun :smooch:

Thanks Ales for letting me know because I've just waken up and saw the terrible surprise. I know what it is to be a webmaster (I've been running Enqvist's website for 7 years now !!), it takes time and when your player is not so good, it's sometimes tough to continue, but Carlos is not the n° 100 player in the world, he's still in the top player !! I think to stop now, it's terrible. He needs us now !! Do you think it's because a lack of time or maybe because she's working on other sites (like Pim Pim Johansson) ? With a friend, we've been working for several months on a website about Carlos, but in French, cause the one in English was very good. But, as the English website now, is dead, maybe we'll create it in English. I'll let you know but Carlos will have a new website soon, maybe not as cool graphically, but at least, Carlos will have a website.

Hi, I was at this event in Mallorca. The final was great. Two players battle at 100%. If I can I'll post pics from the event.

Quartefinal
(1)Nadal a Schüttler 7-5 7-5
(Q)Salvà a Moyà 7-2 4-7 8-6
Ferrer a F López 7-3 8-6
Zabaleta a (2)J Johansson 7-3 7-3

Semifinal
(1)Nadal a (Q)Salvà 7-1 7-2
Ferrer a Zabaleta 7-4 9-7

Final
(1)Nadal a Ferrer 6-3 6-2

The torunament played in a claycourt on the beach. The stadium capacity was 2,500 and it was full, the tickets were free and so too many people came to Sta.Ponça.

J Johansson: He wasn't brilliant and his serve didn't help him. There were lots of swedish tourists and a support team had a very big swedish flag. The public signed the "happy birthday" because was his 23th birthday las Friday.

Carlos Moyà: Really bad day, the majorcan didn't play well and demostrate a bad gestures to local public when after lose we acclamate him and he went out without say nothing to the people. Salvà won him without dudes because he didn0t play with fear and playing impossible points. He made and impossible back passing (like Rafa Nadal). Carlos had a match ball with a 6-5 in 3rd tie-break. Carlos is in very bad situation, phisically, emotional and with his game. After end the final I saw on street his girlfriend wlaking 3 metres separated from Carlos and Carlos walking very dissapointed and sad. I intented aproximate him but he turn his head to another place. A TOO BAD GESTURE...

MUY MAL CARLOS, ASI NO SE TRATA A TUS PAISANOS... CARLOS TIO Q PER UN PIK Q VENS A MALLORKA...

Feli López: Served well but didn't do anything against an inspirated Ferrer. He needs some rest after Wimby.

Schüttler: He was supported by some german tourists. He couldn't do anything against Nadal, but his game was too good.

Tomeu Salvà: SURPRISE MAN! This young majorcan lefty player (very friend of Rafa Nadal) player really well and without fear. He played really well against the poor play of Carlos. He provided from a Qualy Round with other young majorcan players. Last year he player too in 1st Trofeu Illes Balears, but he lost against Moyà in 2 TB. This year he had the revenge. Against Rafa he was very tired, but he played so well. He's 18 years old, last summer he was Winner of European Junior Championships.

Zabaleta: The argentinean arrived to subsitude Richard Gasquet, and played really well against Pim Pim, then against Ferrer force the 7all in 2nd TB.

Ferrer: Without words! Very hot drops and all of him is strenght and energy. Today must be ended too tired because in the final played like was any ATP Circuit match, very intesive.

A nice success from David, in last game of the final he was winning 15-0 on serve and made 3 straight DB from 15-40. The he shout: ME CAGO EN MI **** MADRE! and all the public heard him, and all the poeple laugh and ovation him. REINO EL BUEN ROLLITO. el valenciano respondio con una sonrisa medio avergonzado

Rafa: The best, without dude. All know how plays Rafa and yesterday player like and very confident with all the public supporting him. CONGRATS RAFA!

I agree with you Val! I think it wasn't an apropriate moment to make a contact with him if he looked upset! Everybody here had bad days where you don't want talk to anybody, and that if someone just try it, for sure will get a bad response. The difference is that with us it happens only between our friends or family, people that usually know us very well to just ignore it. But when you are a public person is hard to deal with this, a lot of people know you but you don't know half of them, it's a dificult situation.
So I think he was just not having a good day!! I feel sorry for you MajorcanBoy, that it did happen with you, but it could happen with anyone of us! Hope this fact haven't affect your admiration for him! And again, one more reason for our project succeed!
Val! I'm much better now, my heart bit is normal again! eheheheh...

Personally, when one of my player loses, i don't try to go to speak to him cause I know that I'd have some problems, and you can be disappointed especially if it's your favourite one. Carlos is a very nice guy and I don't want you to have this image. I think he was very disappointed if he had this reaction. I think it was difficult cause he's an important person in Majorca, and now, everyone is watching Nadal or the young player. I'm still shocked by that because he's an important spanish player and he has never had the recognition from the Spanish crowd, I think foreign people like him more than the spanish people. In Spain, all the attention has always been on Corretja (Ok) then, on Ferrero (I'm still wondering why) and on Nadal (I can understand). Hopefully, last year, when Spain won the DC, he had the recognition he deserved, but now, he's injured and dropped a little bit in the ranking, and everyone forgot him. He doesn't deserve that, he won one grand slam title (like the other spaniards), he has been number 1 in the world, he won many tournaments, he won the Davis Cup (finally). Well, I hope that he'll come back soon to prove that we have to count on him, he's not ready to retire in the total indifference.

That's life....unfortunately..... But we're his fans..and most of his fans will support him through the good and the bad times. The crowds and press love winners... and of course he is a winner, just not winning at the moment.

The press sucks! :ras: I can imagine that JC got a little angry at them for only writing about Rafa. But that's the "we love a winner" attitude. Some people blame Rafa too..... but he's not asking to be put in the spotlights.....they just put him there.

When I was in Mallorca 2 years ago....the people in Palma didn't even know who Carlos Moya was! :haha: That was so weird! Carlos still has some tennis to show us! And he will :yeah:
And JC?? Well, he's a superb player! That RG he won....pffff....anyone want a tennislesson?!

I'm also one to let the players go when they have just lost. Only a few will still talk to you. Like my friend David Wheaton. You can usually tell when to leave them alone.....

Yes, he is right, see I am a great admirer of Roddick too, as well as JCF, Lopez, Gonzalez, man there is a big list of my likings in Tennis (though no one takes place of Moya - for me) but see as Val saya,

and won't talk about him on Moya's board.

I 100% agree with that cause we have other forums to discuss OTHER things, don't wanna hurt someOne with this, no never, but I think this is Moya's forum, if we will be discussing others as well, then this will HURT madMoyaFans (like me ofcourse) & will give a negative picture about Moya...

hope every one simply understands this, please dont take it personal, regards to every one,

 why would talking about other players hurt Carlos?! Or his fans...?? Sorry but I don't see that. As long as we stay nice and polite..... Besides, most of the Armada fans know eachother anyway...so it's fine.

A Chat thread is to chat..... about whatever, whoever you like. That was my intention when I made this thread. Its a nice way of knowing who and what the other Moya fans like.

Don't make a big drama out of talking about someone else here... At the jcf Forum they talked for pages and pages about Verdasco's gf! And boy did we all have fun! And that's what its about, FUN!

Let me say this: you don't HAVE TO talk about anyone else....just Carlos is fine...but IT IS NO PROBLEM IF YOU DO TALK ABOUT OTHERS!

But what would I know??!! Do what you like everyone, it's a free world :)

I completely agree with you! :yeah: I don't like boards with strict rules, like 'it's forbidden to go off topic even a bit'. What's the fun in that? My experience is that topics that go waaaaaaaaaay off topic are usually the most fun!

And like Sjoukje said... you don't have to talk about someone else if you don't want to, but please don't give ppl who do a hard time! Really, what's the harm? http://members.home.nl/gvanbienen/shrug.gif

Don't make a big drama out of talking about someone else here...

Hey I don't wanna win hearts here, so no need to play dramas, right,
And as I said, please don't take it personal, then why you do, I again say I never wanna hurt someOne, & if I did, I am sorry for that, but the fact is, we all here are moya fans (and this is MOYA forum) so according to that, we should b friends, then why should we fight, we r friends aren't we...

regards,

Carlita
07-05-2005, 03:39 PM
yes it's a moya forum, but this is the moya CHAT.... Maybe not for everyone, but there's more to life then Carlos Moya (however much I love that man) and we can talk about that here in the chat thread.

that's all. The other treads are about carlos...... Most forums have a chat thread to talk about all that interests. To get to know each other...

I didn't take it personal, no worries.....

But we're not at school here, as long as people stay friendly and don't badmouth anyone, no need for strict rules.

that's all I said basically....:)

also, I do not recall ANYONE being named Forum leader here (and there's no need for one)....so no one makes ANY rules here (except for those made for MTF in general) and we can all do and say whatever we like. Just stay friendly and have a good time.

Oh no! What's going on here? It seems that this bad phase that MOYA is going throught wants to go over his fans also! Please don't let this happen, we don't need a kind of discord among us! I understand that it is a chat thread and as it so we are allowed to talk about anything, and since we live in a democratic world we can agree or not with some opinions. Thank GOD we have different point of views otherwise world could be so boring! Anyway, maybe there were some misunderstandings in here! And of course everybody can say anything here as long as doesn't offend or disrespect someone else! I'm sure that this was nobody's intention here!

Please let's no make a big deal about this, for our own good and most of all for Carlos behalf! After all we are all MOYAHLICS, aren't you?

I'm not making a big deal out of it....just explaining why I made this thread...

DEFINITELY :worship: U2HOLIC!!!!!!!!!! Well I missed them twice, first when they came here, I was in the middle of my trainee and the concerts of course were only in São Paulo and Rio, ap. 10-18 hours by bus, to expensive by plane, so I didn't go! Then when I was in States they went to TACOMA, near Seattle where I was, but at the same year I was going to live in London, so I thought: No better place to see them! Well they went there before I got to London. Years in London and nothing! BUAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe myself! My friend who was in London at the time, got front tickets as a gift from her boss! Damit! And then last weekend they were in Hyde Park for free! Not fare! By the way I'm so sad today cause all the terrible things that happened in London! I already know that some of my friends are ok, but still concerned about others!
But....life goes on! Fergie I heard that maybe U2 could come to Brazil late this year still! Not sure, it was on MTV! I'll check! This time can't miss it!

MAQK! I was making a joke, cause mostly of the guys don't like to hear girly things like colour of dresses, decoration, band you know! And I know that some times it can be boring specially for boys! That's why I said that! Don't get any wrong idea! I guess I'm definitely not good with jokes! ;)

Take care you all!

Ps: I know that I saw this, I guess it was picture thread, but MOYA and BONO have some similar features, don't you think! Well I think both are very charming and sexy men!!!!!

Actually English is the language I understands the WORST (i.e., not the best), so I just couldn't understand what u said (many a times it happens), no problemo!!!
Also from exciting moments (what I wrote to Claudine), I meant moments not only like colours & dresses & decoration & stuff like that as u described, see after all, there are things commonly liked by females as well as males (Tennis or Rock Music for example), so no misunderstandings & no problemo!!heheheheheheheheehee)

Tks MAQK! I know, sometimes is not easy to understand or even write in another language! But more we practice, like we are doing now, more we will get better on this! And I want to improve my german and learn french! Imagine!
By the way, speaking in languages, I always wander how europeans learn so many different languages and they can write, read and speak fluently. How do you do that? Courses or self learning? About the foreign languages. French are not the best learners, cause the French don't speak foreign languages very well. If you come in France and you speak English to somone, he won't be able to reply you. The problem is that we learn French at the age of 10 and the courses are not great.

Personally, I studied at school English and Spanish. I use English in my work (in tourism) and I have always loved that language. Regarding Spanish, I got problems with the grammar, I understand it, I can write it a little bit, but I'm unable to have a real conversation with someone, even if I travelled a lot of times in Spain. If I'm lost, I can manage in spanish though. I just need to practrice but I have some motivation to practrice thanks to some tennis players :)

I attended to some swedish courses, I understand it a little bit (written Swedish) and it's a language I'd like to practrice more. And, Italian, would be the language, i'd like to learn, cause it's similar to French and spanish and not easy to understand.

Well, I'm crazy about foreign languages but not enough time to practrice :(

For me my mother tongue is French. I started to learn German 10 years ago and stopped a year ago... Started to learn English 7 years ago and stopped when I stopped my studies (April this year, one of the subject was English but not learning it.. having lessons in English, Old english and so on...) Never learned Italian neither with my father or at school.. but I can write it and speak it... I just learned all by myself.. reading italian papers, news on the net, listening to italian TV and italian music..

You are courageous to learn French, it's a difficult language to learn, even the French don't write/speak French very well so... About Swedish, if you speak well English and German, I'm not surprised that you speak this language a little bit. I understand Norwegian which is similar to Swedish. When i go to Sweden, I can ask some stuff, but after the second sentence, it's in english LOL LOL A foreign language is easy to understand but not easy to speak, unless if you spend a lot of time in a foreign country. I think I'll always regret to not have been spending a year abroad after my studies. It's the best way to be fluent in a foreign language.

I love to learn other languages. Swedish comes very easy for me. But because I hardly use it, I've forgotten things. At school I always had problems with French. It was the reason I had to repeat a year!! That's why learning Italian and Spanish is not easy for me. I have to say that out of French, Spanish and Italian, Spanish is the easiest. Well , for me anyway. ;)

enqvistfan
07-09-2005, 07:28 PM
Yes, Spanish and Italian are similar to French, they are latin languages, that is why at school, most of the French prefer learning those 2nd foreign languages (it was my case), than learning German. And, the Scandinavian languages are similar to German, that is why some German people can speak Swedish (I know some).

Personally, i prefer the Italian language, the sound is better than the Spanish, I like especially the Italian songs. Regarding spanish, I have never had a good teacher to make me love this language. I have the basis but need to practrice. I took an exam last may and I missed one subject that I have to take next year, and I have to speak in spanish about my professional life. So, now, I need to practrice this language, and I think that tennis, will motivates me a lot :) :) If someone wants to chat in spanish, just let me know :)

Guys, today Star sports telecasted the exhibition match (Moya vs. Nadal), I was pretty excited to see Moya after so long time on TV but watched the match with a broken heart since i knew the result         .

Moya didn’t play that bad, in fact, he chose the right selection of shots, but executed them a bit early. The worst thing was UNFORCED ERRORS that made me :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: furious , overall, he didn’t played that bad (may be since it was just an exhibition match – no tensions).

What I conclude was he doesn’t look injured, may be just a more practice & concentration will get him back, see he is having a very bad year, so our post cards are going at the very right time!!!

Good luck Nath and Lolly bop. I know what it is to take an exam. Even, if I have a full time job, I passed an exam last may (just before Roland-Garros), I need one subject to have it, it will be for next year. I stopped my studies 8 years ago, so it wasn't easy to come back two years ago, work and study after. Moreover, there was my tennis hobby !!! I'm happy cause now, i only need 1.5 pt to have it, so that's great. As I said earlier, I'll have a spanish conversation with someone to get that exam next year, so a lot of work, cause I don't speak spanish very very well. But, I'll got it that exam, I'm sure, so Lolly bop, you'll have it, don't be anxious :) :)

And, the other good thing, is that I go to Kitzbuehl tournament in two weeks, from sat to wednesday. In fact, I take a night train from Paris, on friday evening and then, I'll have a 3 hour train from Munich to Kitz. So, it will be a long trip but I have never been to Austria or to a German-speaking country before, so it would be interesting. It would be also great to have a few days off cause at the moment at work, it's terrible, many extra hours (not paid) and I'm staying quite late. I go there mainly to see one player LOL (Fernando Gonzalez) but I have a penfriend who'll go there with a friend so it would be great to finally meet her :)

Yes, I think I'm going to have fun. It's always great to have some days off and go somewhere.
Yes, it will be long I think, but not as long as going to the south of France, so it's ok :)

Ales : tonight there's a free concert in Paris with famous Brazilian singers, and tomorrow, the President of Brazil will come to the festivities for the French national day. I won't go to the concert cause very tired but I hope we'll have some views on tv. In France, it's the year of Brazil, do you know if it's in the whole countries, the year of Brazil or simply in France ??

Val as far as I know I think it's only in France. Actually I thought that this was happen every year in France and everytime with a different country!
Yes I saw at the news that the president is there! I didn't vote to this president, I don't like him at all! We are facing lot of political problems such as corruption but he is not talking about it overseas! You know next year is the election, I'm praying for his defeat!
Anyway, concerning the concerts I know that some of the famous singers from MPB (brazilian popular music) will play! I was never really into this kind of music, althought I like the classics of Elis Regina and Tom Jobin (Garota de Ipanema).
I'm glad that you will check some of our popular culture, Brazil is a real mix of all different races, I'm from south with lot of European influence, specially the Germans and Italians, Gisele Bundchen in contrast with Ronaldinho (best soccer player last year) is the best example, they are both from the same state here on South. And up to Norhtest there is a lot of African influence, such as Bahia, this is the place from where Gilberto Gil (singing tonight) come from! Not forgetting the indians in North!
Well I hope you have fun watching and tell me everything about your impressions tomorrow!

See ya!

Yes, but in Paris. So, when you go to south of France, sometimes, it takes 11 hours by train !!! For example, to go the MS Monaco which is on the Riviera coast.

Mio italiano non è perfetto neanche. Lo ho imparato qualche mese fa solo perche ho letto giornali e guardato la tv in italiano... non posso scrivere molte parole in questa lingua peccato :(

I am half italian but my dad never spoke to me in Italian, only in French  But I understand italian much well and I can say a few words in it
