Go Richie !! federer express 04-14-2005, 01:22 PM this the same gasquet that was being called an overhyped piece of crap by most people on this forum a few months ago? :p TheMightyFed 04-14-2005, 01:26 PM this the same gasquet that was being called an overhyped piece of crap by most people on this forum a few months ago? :p Seems he made his experience, and now he can show his talent with more self-confidence. Good option to play some satellites, Monfils should do the same and not accept every wildcard... silverwhite 04-14-2005, 01:26 PM Trop tot! Too early to say. But I certainly hope so. :) mandoura 04-14-2005, 01:28 PM He is good. richard gasquet 04-14-2005, 01:28 PM Yes richard is back, a new richard really fit and enjoying his tennis :) hope him the best against roger but regardless what happens he did a great job here reaching his first quarter in a master serie.Bravo richard. :worship: He is just playing his best right now. :) TheMightyFed 04-14-2005, 01:32 PM Yes richard is back, a new richard really fit and enjoying his tennis :) hope him the best against roger but regardless what happens he did a great job here reaching his first quarter in a master serie.Bravo richard. :worship: He is just playing his best right now. :) Yep, is it me or he gained some muscles, especially in the lower part ? I'm so happy that these guys are around, Gasquet and Monfils, because French tennis was in deep sh** these days... richard gasquet 04-14-2005, 01:35 PM Yep, is it me or he gained some muscles, especially in the lower part ? I'm so happy that these guys are around, Gasquet and Monfils, because French tennis was in deep sh** these days... Yes it gives some refreshment lol :D but they are not alone therer are some other young players that doing quite well also,a new generation of players :) silverwhite 04-14-2005, 01:48 PM Yes it gives some refreshment lol :D but they are not alone therer are some other young players that doing quite well also,a new generation of players :) Comme Paulo? syd 04-14-2005, 01:49 PM It made a long time a french hadn’t reached a 1/4. Good performance !! may be ,he has been influenced by Nadal's good results .. TheMightyFed 04-14-2005, 01:56 PM It made a long time a french hadn’t reached a 1/4. Good performance !! may be ,he has been influenced by Nadal's good results .. Sure there's emulation between the 1986 guys, Nadal, Monfils and Gasquet... ;) Good for Roland Garros, good perspective ! richard gasquet 04-14-2005, 03:11 PM Comme Paulo? I like your irony but give him some time and you will see ;) trust me :p silverwhite 04-14-2005, 03:13 PM I like your irony but give him some time and you will see ;) trust me :p I didn't mean it that way. :p The  was referring to "young generation of players". Paulo is 25 already. ;) SwissMister1 04-14-2005, 03:25 PM A great win for Richard today, especially against a good claycourter like Davydenko. lucashg 04-14-2005, 04:13 PM First time I saw him and liked his game a lot. He is good. Hopefully he can pull some nice results in the big events coming up. Is his favorite surface really clay, or can he play (well) in every one of them? richard gasquet 04-14-2005, 04:21 PM I didn't mean it that way. :p The  was referring to "young generation of players". Paulo is 25 already. ;) NIET. :o he is 23 since january :p ;) misyou25 04-14-2005, 04:40 PM allez:) silverwhite 04-14-2005, 05:28 PM NIET. :o he is 23 since january :p ;) Typo. Sorry. :o Well. You get my point. He's not in as young as those youngsters. ;) NATAS81 04-14-2005, 08:07 PM I wouldn't say he's back when he beats mentally unstable players such as Davydenko. You shouldn't under analyse any top 10 victory, though. Good for him. But from here on out the true test begins. *julie* 04-14-2005, 08:30 PM I wouldn't say he's back when he beats mentally unstable players such as Davydenko. You shouldn't under analyse any top 10 victory, though. Good for him. But from here on out the true test begins. He did many challengers for a long time. He played the qualies of MC and now he is the quarters!!! In that sense we can say he is back! But I agree that his match against Federer will be a real test for him. tennisgirl19 04-14-2005, 09:28 PM Great Job Richard today and I really hope he plays well against Federer tomorrow Allez Richard! alfonsojose 04-14-2005, 11:27 PM It's better for Gasquet to lose to JesusFed. If he wins, french media will press on him so hard that he'll crash and burn at Paris  Domino 04-14-2005, 11:29 PM Good point Fonso. Gasquet is a headcase, but I think he needs to be grounded now and learn from it, so he can put up a good showing at RG. David Kenzie 04-14-2005, 11:37 PM If the french want a french RG champion, then they have to quit using the media excuse for the young french players loosing. A true champion is not bothered by media pressure. If Gasquet is ever to win RG, then it makes no difference if there is pressure on him or not. Scotso 04-15-2005, 02:22 AM It looks like the guys who can challenge Federer are starting to step it up. Allez. | |
