Sorry to interfere into such an optimistic thread, but Safin hasn't yet played against a good claycourter in Monte-Carlo. Both Cyril and Lee are rather hardcourters, so I guess we can tell if Marat is finally on form only in case he beats Ferrero. IMHO

Quite right! AND Marat has SF pts to defend and will have more pressure altho he doesn't look pressured so far. ;)
