Monte Carlo: Men's Look Forward

This week begins the Monte Carlo Open, another stop on the ATP tour, and the beginning of the clay court season.

Guillermo Coria, the defending champ, Roger Federer, Marat Safin, Gaston Gaudio, among others, are in action this week.

Some matchups to watch: Nadal/Monfils in the opening round; a possible Roger/Guga rematch from the 2004 French Open, where Guga upset the top seed; and perhaps a Gaudio/Kiefer or Gaudio/Schuettler in the second round.

Who are your picks to win it?
I say Federer looks like he has a great chance, if he doesn't face Guga.

I think he does have a great chance to beat Guga. Guga is still rusty and if Roger were to lose to him after Guga was out for so long then Roger will have nightmares about meeting him come RG. :o

Fed has great chances too.
