I don't think you can ever dismiss it so completely out of hand because I'd say Tim, in terms of consistency and quality of play on grass, is the 3rd best player in the world behind only Roger and Lleyton. He'll have to somehow avoid both of them to have any hope of winning because his head to head against both of them is not very heartening.

It would be wonderful to see Tim win someday. He definitely has the potential, he is seeded to win and he can win. But his problem is the British press. Everybody expect far too much of him and he simply can't handle the enormous pressure. Every year there are some unrealistic expectations of his fans, only to be disappointed at the end. So maybe it would be better if we just get off the poor guy's back. If he just relax and improves on his errors, he could win anything, as its his mistakes that let him down. He really doesn't need public pressure while playing what must be one of the mentally toughest sports there is.
I do hope he does well though. If he wins it, brilliant! If not, that's OK, too. Good luck Tim! :)
