When that stat was mentioned during the Agassi-Federer match, I realized I wasn't at all familar with that. I have to laugh because so many of my friends come to me with tennis history questions because they consider me to have a decent memory, but there are so many tennis fans on this board that just put me to shame with their knowledge.
So my question to others: Is 10-25 bad against number 1's, when the player in question has been ranked number 1 for a significant number of time and thus can not play number 1's?
Does any one have stats on the other players and their results? What are the records of a Sampras or Lendl whom would have been ranked 1 for over twice as long?
That stat just caught my interest, and makes me wonder about others records. Does anyone know what some of the game's great's records are, while ranked 1, are against the world number 2's or 3's?
Any info is greatly appreciated, thanks.
