if he must lose 4 matches, it will certainly be during the claycourt season !!!

Not a bad year, but ordinary by his standards. In this case I hope someone else will finish No 1.

yea, but if he loses there I wouldn't be suprised. He doesn't own Wimbly and he could easily lose to a Hot Heman, Awesome Ancic, or Ridiculous Roddick. :)

If he does not win a Slam this year, it is a wasted year for him.

It would be an incredible achievement if he won all 9 Masters Series plus the Masters Cup in one season, I'd suggest it would make up for not winning a Slam. But anyways, it's never gonna happen he's got about as much chance as Elvis Presley :p

Federer is not a sure bet for Wimbledon. Yes, he is the favorite, but there are plenty of players that can beat him there.

If I joined the pro tour and won every match except at the majors, I'd be just fine with that.

This thread is a joke. What is he loses 5, 6, 7?

Come on. His year is based on slams as he's set himself apart of everyone.

His loss count won't do that.

And if they do all come in slams, yes. Like I said, his year is based on the slams. Much like Tiger Woods is based on majors.

If he has like a 7*-4 record, along with several Masters shields, "lesser" titles, and the Masters Cup, then it's not bad at all.

Completely agree, winning all 9 Master Series plus Masters Cup would be incredible, even more difficult than winning the Grand Slam. However, in history you are remembered for the amount of Grand Slams you've won so he would probably rather win 1 GS than a couple AMS. But all nine I'd settle for that, but no one will ever do that.

If he plays the entire season, goes deep into the slams and only loses a total of 4 times, he will be close to 90 wins. 90. How can that be anything but a great year?
