Well the reason I like Stepi, is cuz of his fighting spirit and experience over Morrison who can't rely on his serve to win against Stepi. Also, Pim had ONLY 2 aces against Morrison, so you have to figure that his shoulder wasn't OK. But hey, Miami beaches and bitches are really nice..

its not the tournament, Marat, Moya and Nalby are all headcases at the best of times - i very rarely touch a match these days which involves them, Jochim was injured and Andy also hurt himself, so alot of the upsets have either been through default or the headcases have woke up on the wrong side of the bed

Davydenko losing, Philippoussis winning, Tabara blowing, Berdych randomly getting hurt, Karol Beck blowing to someone who Grosjean murders, Youzhny and Enqvist succumbing to Taik-Lee, mass third set tiebreaks everywhere.

Even if you don't account for the headcases, this tournament is bizarre as hell.

Scud beat C Rochus, a player who he lost to in a challenger the week before in three tight sets, like 6-7, 7-5, 5-7 or something along those lines, so it was no surprise he beat him this time. Lee has always been thereabouts taking a set off Roddick, beating Gambill and Soderling so thats no surprise really after enqvist had a big week, so if you analyse it closely you will find its like many other tournaments

heres my reasoning... in Cali, Coria dealt swiftly with Srichaphan, Im thinking this match will be similar. Dent struggled against the injured clay courter Hanescu in his first match here, and last week retired against Canas.

Coria was level with agassi until the end of the 1st set last week, then gave up - so his form isn't too bad coming into this one.

Gaudio v Grosjean

Last week, Gaudio fought out a tough win over the always solid Mirnyi before being outplayed by an inform Kiefer. Grosjean scored his first win since Melbourne Park, by beating a qualifier who should never have gotten past the lathargic/fatigued Karol Beck. This hardcourt surface is reportedly slower than others, which all plays into Gaudio's hands - Grosjean plays his best tennis on grass.

Clijsters v Myskina -

Myskina isn't having the best of years, and I cant see her stopping a rampaging Kimmy who took the title last week with a win over Davenhorse in the final.

Henin v Molik - Henin has a career 3-0 record over Molik, and hasnt been troubled 2 matches in. Molik was pushed by Dulko, and as much as she would love to win this one, Justine will be going out to show the rest of the girls the Queen is BACK.

He simply doesn't have the play to counter against volley player as his play is only suite for baseline players. Thats not true. He beaten Arthurs and Carraz this year, and no of them have much more to the game than serving and volley. Last year he got in a 5 set match against Dent in the Aussie Open, lost 7-5 in the last set. So you are dead wrong. Also remember that Chela are in good shape and did a good match against Canas last week - the same Canas Henman lost for in two stright sets.

Its a 50-50 match and its a good value in Chela.

I missed out on gaudio unfortunately definately a bet I would've made but was out late last night and woke up after the match had begun :( But im on henman and haas, took henin in the wta, venus to lose lol shes prone to bad matches lately so why not take a chance. The henman/haas/henin combo pays about 3.15ish and all stand a very solid chance in my opinion, took them all in singles as well. I know the aversion to the wta most of us have but value is value, henin hasnt lost to molik yet and molik just seems that one step below the big girls, it might go 3 but I think if justines in form she should walk away with it. At 1.8 for the ex number 1 why not.
