Do you want help typing this big beast up?

Damn you're fast!

Ooh, Hasi may have a chance to stop the FedEx man... enticing....

Ooh dear, now that is a tough draw for Roddick! 3rd round Nadal, 4th round Ljubicic, qf Moya, sf Safin.

Chloe le Bopper
03-21-2005, 08:09 PM
Going by what he did to Nadal on hardcourts last time they played, I don't think that match will be terribly exciting. Stupid draw.

jtipson
03-21-2005, 08:11 PM
Yes, perhaps, but going by what Ljubicic did to him in their last hardcourt match, that's a very interesting match up.

Yes, I agree with you that the rest is tough. Well, aside from Moya who could lead 6-0 5-0 and still get spanked by Roddick.

Stupid draw for Nadal and Robredo :(

Sjengster
03-21-2005, 08:14 PM
I can only see one quarter, and it's got virtually all my favourite players in it. Henman vs Schalken in the second round! Mind you, neither of them won a match here last year so they can only gain points...

Sjengster
03-21-2005, 08:20 PM
OK... Ferrero would have to play Canas in the second round, ouch! A potential Moya-Blake second round, Bjorkman-Mirnyi will feature 100% serve-volley on a slow hardcourt, and I like Gaudio's chances to get through a couple of rounds - he beat Grosjean at this very event three years ago in exactly the same round as he's seeded to meet him here. Nadal could make the match with Roddick more competitive considering the courts in Miami don't have the fast balls and lightning pace of the US Open.

Damn Ollie ... well Roger only loses against lower rankend players so .. go for it

Well if Ljubo beats Andy..it will be hard for his not to make the SF vs Safin and that should be interesting.

Poor Young is going to get spanked by a qualifier again. It's nice that they're rigging the draw for him... but they should put him against (WC)Cliff Drysdale.

Pretty good draw for Karol :D

Rafael got an awful draw. Rafael needs to learn to play Indian Wells and his ranking would improve :D I actually think it's a good draw for Juan Carlos.

Fernando Verdasco is really unlucky :(

Someone please beat Roger and Andy early. Please!

good luck:

Some of the 1st rounds in this draw really suck!!!

Ollie vs. Ivo *I laugh at the visual but this is not the easiest beginnig for Ollie w/ Ivo's serve if it's on*

Brendan vs. Juanqui?! *Why can't Brendan get a draw like Young  *

Potito vs. Rainer  :banghead: *And then Rafa in the 2nd?!?! More :banghead: *

Hopefully the Doubles Draw won't be as bad

Miami is a little more spread out than IW, and the doubles sign-in is usually not til after like the first round of singles is played, I think. Or something like that. Yea. :p

I know. I forget that about Miami every year  . I think if I kept every detail about draws being released from each tourney in my head...it would explode :p. It's already about to as I have started a new quarter and one of my classes is Business Law.

Alex was a WC last year so I remember nothing about Quallies, for example :).

Rochus vs. Karlovic head-to-head currently stands at 1-1, so Olivier has slayed Ivo, the biggest giant of them all, once before. Last year in fact.

Nadal played only claycourt matches since AO. He'll be check in and go out at Miami. He's goal is French Open this year. I hope he can win it.

Ljubo does not need any luck till SF. Trust me.

I said there is no need for luck until SF, not that he will need it SF. Probably his SF opponent will be Canas unless Russian bear get awaken. Well, against focused Safin little luck would be helpfull.
