Incredible win by Rohan Bopanna. That is a 400+ ranked player upsetting the #86 ranked player. The first top-100 win by an Indian player since Leander Paes beat Federer almost three years back .. I believe it's also the biggest win by anybody other than LP (who beat even Sampras once) since Ramesh Krishnan retired some 9 years back ..

Go Rohan!

Hello Jay,
I watched a couple games of this match. Totally I would say Rohan Bopanna(IND) played great tennis yesterday. He served well and moved Lee from side to side. Lee did not play well, he just came from Yokohama and he called the trainer to see his right legs after he was down 6-7, 2-4.

Congrtas to Rohan Bopanna(IND).

Yeah, you can say that..
At the beginning of the year he almost lost every match, but now he's doing very well and he's racing up the rankings. Well deserved I think.

Go John! :bounce:

Frank Moser is really having a break-out tournament, eh? .. Though he came up near top-600 after leaving US college tennis in summer 2001, he seemed to stick at about a #550 ranking throughout this year before this big break to the finals .. Does anybody know what was up with him earlier this year (he was a top-10 college payer in the US in 2000 - so he is obviously a pretty good player).

yeah johnny good luck in the final

i was looking at his ranking and despite last week's final he lost some places (maybe he was defending it or it was a bigger event) he must win this tournament to gain some point because he was a finalist last year.

Yeah, well this win brought him closer to top 100. He can make it to top 70 for sure, and personally I think he can make it to top 50. We'll see, but he got all my support! Go Johnny :D
