I would be extremely surprised if he did not play - against Argentina I think he was fairly sure that Safin would beat David, and that would clinch it. Here they have to win the next two matches.

I highly doub,t barring injury, that he would not throw every last bit of sweat he has in him into a fifth rubber, if need be.
