MURRAY Andrew-where is he?

Its a shame, his ranking isn't really high enough to enter main events yet, and since there are next to no events in britain he can't get wild cards like many Americans do. So at the moment, I think he'll just be playing futures and challengers for the time being (which can be quite hard to follow). He's going to be great for tennis, so much passion on the court I just hope he fulfils his undoubted potential.

Here's a couple of pics I took at Wimby 2004 when he played in the Juniors. I've got quite a lot more but I haven't put them all onto my comp yet.

I know Andrew played juniors the day I was at Wimbledon.. It was the second Monday. Don't remember the date though :shrug:

i had tickets for court 1. mauresmo-suarez, roddick-schalken and grosjean-mayer. i think it might've been the 2nd monday. court 1 started an hour later than outside courts so i went to see a bit of andy. it was great, his coach and girlfriend were behind us, they were both very nice and entertaining. unfortunately andy lost to a chinese kid

He played great last week in the davis cup in Israel, I was so impresed with his performance.
And… to my original question. Where is he going to play in the next few weeks?

No, I don't think Paola played singles that day. She did play doubles, together with Vivi, against Asagoe / Fujiwara :)

He apparently will travel to Miami hoping for a wild card for the masters qualifying tournament in two weeks.

They should cancel the WC given to Philippoussis and give it to Murray. He'll do a much better job with it.

I really don't want him to go to Miami and get spanked like Young though. I'd be happier if he went through qualifying, at least its an achievement even if he ended up losing in the 1st round, plus it would give him a feel for the event.
