Messages for Nic in Indian Wells

Okay, I'm going to Indian Wells and I am willing to give Nic messages from his fans here. So, you can post them here (in English, French or German) or you can send them to me via PM if you are shy. Please include your name and country. I will probably cut and paste the messages into one document and print it up on nice paper, so I cannot guarantee that the emoticons will show up. I may just print up this thread, depending how it turns out, so he can see what the forum looks like. Don't know yet. Either way, post them or PM them to me before 0800 GMT on Tuesday, March 8th (which is midnight Pacific Coast, US time). I'm still not sure which day I am going to Indian Wells yet, but this is the earliest I will leave. Believe me, if he is there, I will find him.

:wavey:

(For safety's sake, it doesn't have to be your full name.)

Thanks for doing this, Fee. I was planning to do the same last time in melbourne, but I ended up didn't have a chance to hand it to him.

I will just post the same message I have for Kiwi from the other thread.
Thanks and enjoy the tournament :D

Hi Kiwi

Firstly, I would like to wish you a great year for 2005, hope you will have lots of success in tennis and your life, and a "free of injury" year.

My name is Henry, and I live in Melbourne. I first met you and saw you playing tennis live in 1999 in Kooyong (Colonial Classic), and since then you have became my favourite player. I have followed your tennis matches every time you entered a tournament, and although ups and downs in your tennis career in the past, I always have faith that you will come back to your great form eventually. Thanks for proving me correct by your great results last year, and I do hope you will continue with that form (or even better) throughout the years. I wish you will win many titles this year (after so many final appearances last year) and hopefully you will win a grand slam title. Please always believe in yourself and that you can achieve your goals, as many of us (your fans) believe in you.

Thanks for always updating us with your latest news in your website. I do hope that you will consider to have an English version of your official website.

Best Regards,

Henry Rosia

Kiwi, I leave (probably) too messages on your message board. But I am such a fan. Through he thrills and the dissapointments, I am always inspired by you! Best of luck in 2005. You are my hero.

Hallo Kiwi!!!

Hello Nicolas!!

I just wanted to wish you good luck for Indian Wells and the rest of 2005. I have a feeling you are going to have an amazing year, and I cannot wait to sit back and watch it unfold.

Have a great time here in the States and I'll see you over the summer -- hopefully!

Until then...
Mary

Okay, it's time for me to make a confession and stop avoiding this thread. I did not get the messages to Nic in Indian Wells, mainly because I was not able to print them up in a nice enough way. When I printed the thread, straight from the computer, all of the messages were split onto different pages and with everyone's signatures/avatars, it just made it too hard to figure out what was going on. I tried to get to a computer where I could create a new document to print up, but my hotel did not have one and I rarely got home from the tennis in time to go out and find a print shop or whatever.

So, my deepest apologies to everyone. Can we try again for Miami? Is anyone going to that one?

Okay, no problem, Fee. Maybe another time it works out. ;)

Don't worry Fee,
I didn't manage to get it done too last time :o

I am sure someday Kiwi will get our message

Just in case you haven't figured it out, we can actually print this thread from a printable view (go to thread tools just above the first message) then select printable view. That way, the message will fit in one page and there won't be any avatars printed out.
