The visor indoors. That's not even fashion statement, it's just stupidity

11-06-2002, 03:47 PM
Well, we are getting smarter and smarter between the tournaments :D

I think both look ugly

11-06-2002, 06:13 PM
the backwards cap LOOKS more stupid (it always looks stupid, indoors or outdoors), but the visor IS more stupid.

11-06-2002, 08:45 PM

Visors are the worst thing indoors.

Chloe le Bopper
11-06-2002, 11:29 PM

Static- the visor upsidedown AND sideways.

I still fear the people who attempted to tell me this look was cool and that all the kids these days are doing it

The visor

11-13-2002, 08:29 PM
Good looking people look hot in caps and visors, BABY.

Ma. Estefania
11-13-2002, 08:42 PM
Yes, but it's not REASONABLE to wear them indoors.

Chloe le Bopper
11-14-2002, 08:49 AM
I don't doubt some of them look good in hats (I do doubt they look good in visors though) - but like Ma. E said - indoors?

how about the visor backwards. lol :o

Chloe le Bopper
12-08-2002, 03:35 PM
It isn't so much that it is backwards it's that it is UPSIDE DOWN!

Andy, I hate to break it to you - but you grew up in what, Nebraska? You have no excuse to be committing this awful faux pas.

This look is cute on 2 year olds.

12-08-2002, 03:41 PM
This is what I have to face every day in school :o Now you can all feel my pain.

Chloe le Bopper
12-08-2002, 03:46 PM
Well - I can certaintly say that no one in my highschool did this (not true, some tard did...come to think of it he was a friend of mine) - but it wasn't the norm. And I am yet to see anyone do it here at the university.

God bless - I hope they all stay in your region and leave me alone :p

12-08-2002, 03:52 PM
Sure sure Becca leave me to this horror, I have nightmares because of this every night :o

Mr. Man
12-08-2002, 04:39 PM
Oh Becca. I think im gonna wear that hat (Andy is wearing) and knock on your front door and surprise you. :p :o

12-09-2002, 10:33 AM
The visor indoors does look ridiculous, but reckon it depends on the lights. It must be as anoying to have a light straight in yr face when u're trying to serve as having the sun.

12-18-2002, 03:36 AM
As Andy is the main topic of conversation right now, this deserves a bump :D

and yes i still stand by what i said above :D :D

12-18-2002, 12:39 PM
Yeh it pretty bad people are wearing visors at school and at junior tennis tournaments :| look what andy started *shakes head*

 Living in London I think I see most fashions come and go, but this one.........I must have been in a coma when this one came in (and indeed went out again).:D .

Mind you perhaps the visor is on the right way and it is Andy's head that is upside down and back to front - what do you think TBE?.

Before I get flooded from Andy fans...I am only kidding!;)

LOL Pea!

The problem with Roddick is that very little works successfully. When he originally wore the backwards cap like Hewitt, he either looked like a kind of over-eager puppy or, when he had raised off his head, looked remarkably like the Mekon from Dan Dare, I believe.

Having said that, I think the visor does suit his tousle-haired look, and it's much better than having that hideous short crewcut he presented us with in Paris last year (the one that looked like he'd failed a Marine recruitment test but had still had his hair cut short for the fun of it); that and the black eye he apparently sustained from being hit in the face with his racquet when he bounced it during practice made him look just a little stupid, LOL.

01-27-2003, 09:48 PM
everyone can wear whatever he wants,i dont really care! :)
