(5)Frank Dancevic (CAN) def. (1)Tomas Zib (CZE) 6-2 6-4
3rd week in a row that Frank is in an ATP tournament! :D :DDid he qualify for all three? The qualifying leaders in 2004 (Hueberger/Kratochvil/Squillari) qualified 7 times each. Dancevic is on his way to surpassing that number considering it's only halfway through February.
(3)Jeff Salzenstein (USA) d. Alejandro Hernandez (MEX) 7-6(3) 6-2

He qualified in San Jose and Memphis but not in Delray Beach.

poor Brian, he got his finger stuck in a door and it might be broken, he just cannot get a break can he
 Is that on his website? I haven't checked it in a few days.
I agree with you, Deb. If it's not his shoulder or elbow it's something else  . At this point, I just want to see him hit 199 by the end of the year.

So far luck has not been on my side for 2005. As I was heading to Memphis this week (playing some of the best tennis I've played in years) I got my finger slammed in a car door. I am not sure if it is broken yet or not, but at this point it does not allow me to hit a backhand. So needless to say I was not prepared for my match in Memphis and it was a short tournament. I am heading back to Atlanta to see a doctor to get that taken care of, and to continue rehabilitation on my elbow. It has been some frustrating times and unfortunately they changed the schedule around this year so it will be tough to play tournaments until April, so I am already going a little crazy to get out there and win some matches. But patience is the name of the game. I am headed to the doctor's office shortly.

WOW  . Poor thing. How the hell does one keep a positive attitude with all that? He's right about the schedule making it tougher. It's affecting Alex in a similar way. It's probably going to hurt Alex the most in April & May

I don't know he stays positive. I believe he's a VERY spiritual person, I suppose that helps if you can use that (I can't, so... I don't know what that's like lol)... but it's amazing that he's able to do it. they'll both find their way back somehow!
