Good entry list as usually, the difference from the previous tournaments I would say is Janowicz!

Any idea of the possible WC`s?

Still pure speculations, but atleast one WC to a Swede. I think Marcus Eriksson is likely to get one and/or Elias Ymer. There is also some talk about that Wawrinka will get a WC because he is coached by Swedes (GTG).

I don't think Ferrer will play here. It would be very stupid to do so.

Like that's ever stopped Ferrer from playing a MM 250 after a GS ...

Is Nadal's agent really managing him? I can't think of any other reason that he of all people would get a wildcard. I mean, he's good, but not exactly rocketing up the rankings. Nor is he a crowd drawer (yet) or Swedish...

He won Roland Garros juniors and is only 17. Got to R16 in Vina and is a good choice.

Is that really grounds for a MD WC? He's good, has a lot of potential, but I wasn't under the impression that tournament directors were ready to allow him directly into their Main Draws. Welp, still good for the kid, not complaining. :)

This is Bastad, not the US Open. And anyway he slipped on Wimbledon grass and got injured today, so not even sure if he will play.

After falling in the Wimbledon quarterfinals to Juan Martin del Potro, David Ferrer says that he needs to rest three or four weeks. The Spaniard is suffering an ankle injury, but will move to a career No.3 when the new rankings are released next week.

“I will take two weeks of holiday, sure, and I will have to treatment my ankle, because the USA season is very important for me,” he said. “I think I have never been three weeks or four weeks stop playing any tournament. So now is perfect for to rest. I am 31 years old and I need to take my time.”

Probably gonna give Ymer a WC then. He's in Båstad training afaik. Either that or they get him into the qualies.
