mista , radek is a tough player with good serve that never quits no matter what.

Soderling has just a very hard and good serve, but in my opinion Radek's play is better.
Radek in three sets.

Bilbo
02-06-2005, 12:34 AM
Well evidently you don't wager for real money. Soderling is going to win this tournament and I bet on him to win the tourney after the 1st Round. That was a very easy bet since Mirnyi has very inconsistent ways and Soderling has been on fire lately.

I never picked Ferrer to win but with the way he has been playing lately, he was obviously going to win a set in this one.

It's called knowledge of the sport my friend. If you have a lot of it, bets like this are very easy.

Good Luck

If you know who I am you shouldn't have said these words.

I bet Malisse and Gonzalez for night . For me Malisse is better player and has more weapons to win this match . :)
I bet on Gonzo too. So far nothing but easy holds for both Gonzo and Volandri.

Wave, okay I can agree with that about Radek but I don;t know if anyone can stop Soderling right now. Should be a good match either way, good luck.

Also homecourt advantage in tennis is useless. This is not american sports.
BUT, it plays a role in a davis cup match for sure!

What are you talking about exactly? Spadea trains on this court all the time and has been training hard here for the past little while. The fact that 90% of the crowd is behind him also helps. It's called HOMECOURT Advantage bro...it does exist in Tennis.

I agree, it does exist in tennis. But, if this is all true, why didn't Spadea beat Mello last year? why didn't he win in 1999 when he was the top seed?

And he's not the only player who grew up at this tennis center - so did Roddick and he was never able to win Delray either.

I agree with what you say about homecourt advantage, I believe it exists in tennis - but just having the homecourt advantage doesn't automatically mean the player will win lol

Debstah. thats very true but did you know that he has trained for this tournament harder this year than any other year? Usually Delray is at the end of the season where it rains non-stop and Spadea did not react well to that. This is the one tournament he has been eyeing for a long time now and I think he wins it. Good Point though

X nets short forehand 30-40

Thewave
02-06-2005, 12:38 AM
it has something to do with higher production of testosteron levels, cause you play for your own female crowd, but Malisse plays most of time in US and trains there a lot, so there you go with that advantage.

The girls want X man more.

actually, thewave, I saw Xavier play in Scottsdale last year and even though he lost, he was quite popular with the crowd. As he plays Delray every year, trains in Florida and has made the finals there twice, I'm sure he is quite popular with the crowd. Plus it's not like Vinny is the most crowd-pleasing heart-warming kind of guy that would have the crowd in his back pocket lol

tx mista, but it isn't over yet. Anyway if malisses win, its very sportive of you and I wish you goodluck with your other bets. I toyed a little, cause you said in beginning that we could go to bed anyway, cause X was surely going to lose.

Malisse's comments:
About the weather delays: It's always hard, esp. when you have to come back out and serve. But it was for both of us.

About Spadea: It's always pretty close. We have good rallies... I think I just match up well. Some players you like to play. Somebody's got my number and I got Vince's number.

About Novak and seventh final: As long as I give my chances to win finals, hopefully I win one. Seven is my lucky number. Jiri has got my number. I beat him last time at Wimbledon, hopefully I can keep that going.

are you serious bro? Im a professional gambler and I have coin on this match. I had my biggest wager this year on Soderling earlier and now looking to cash with Spadea. Why would say that? Spadea has the home-court advantage here. Blake was a tougher opponent than Malisse if you ask me.
betting with v-cash doesnt make you professional... and having $25 v-cash makes you look even worse ;).

If nets play equal to slightly better team this week than I am going to back them, vince carter is on a role.
