i don't think he'll be in the top ten any time soon. there are a lot of better players than him at the moment. he's got A LOT of work to regain the form he was in two years ago and even that form is probably no match for some of the top 5 anymore.

He'll gain back the points dw. He still has heart, and that's what's the most important! And he even said himself, he's still the same Juan Carlos lol. I don't see why he can't get back if he works hard. That's what you have to do when you want to get anywhere.

Marat did it too last year, so JC can also do it.

of course the ranking isnt important when you support the guy, you'd do it if he's 10th or 100th. But we just know he'll be back. I dont know about the coach, he's been with him since forever...they know best.

it's pretty similar to what is happening to Guga... Guga may also be out of top-60 now:sad:...

for me it doesn`t matter at all if he`s ranked 1 or 101,
I still love him the same, BUT I think for him it`s very important to come back and play good tennis again.

And we all know HOW good he can be !!
I was just watching a tape from the US Open semifinal against Agassi in 2003, after he became No. 1 and it was so touching to see him so happy there !!
I just want to see him that happy again........

And I`m worried what will happen if he also loses the points from Rotterdam which would mean he ends up somewhere around rank 100.
He needs to qualify then for every tournament, doesn`t he ????

Hmm.... well, 64 is not too bad at this point. We are, afterall heading into the claycourt season, where a lot of JC's points will come. If he is 64 after, then maybe we should worry a little more? He just lost to Pim Pim 7-6 6-3, which is a pretty good result. It shows improvement at least. He's competing with the top players at the moment.... I count the match against Coria as an abhorration. He'll be back, as I've always been sure.

Without much confidence , his way to coming back is pretty difficult . But he's getting better and better . He just need more time & patience ,& we just need to be waiting.

I'm so happy about how he did against pim pim, it's a great result even though he lost. JC's gonna be right back, he should be proud of himself
