My first day at school went good :) I'm glad to be back at school! My dad already assigned some homework :rolleyes: and I can't figure it out :o I have like my own way of doing math and even though my thinking is correct, it doesn't fit into the reasoning that is asked of us in this semester :mad: So I have the answer to the problem but I can't explain it the way it's supposed to be explained!

YEAH RIGHT! I figured out that the answer is that they were 8 people and are now 10 but I can't figure out how to write an equation ( don't know if that's the right word :o ) to explain it all...

Tennis commentator John "Newk" Newcombe has emphatically denied that he showed bias while calling the Lleyton Hewitt-James Blake match at the US Open this week.

Newcombe repeatedly yelled: "C'mon Lleyton, nail this choker!" and "Time to die, Blake!" during his call of the match but claimed later he was merely reading banners in the crowd to bring some of the theatre of Flushing Meadows to viewers at home.

Newcombe also denied that he was out of line, claiming at the end of the first set that Blake had "somehow arsed his way" to a one set lead, and that the fact he won the tiebreak was "pure bullshit".

Newcombe introduced the second set with the words: "Don't worry though, Lleyton will come right back and shove Blake's racquet where the sun doesn't shine. That's what being the world No. 1 is about.

"This turkey Blake has no idea what he's up against. He's toast. He's nothing but cannon fodder for Lleyton. Our boy's just toying with him. He's playing with him, like a cat with a mouse.

"Blake thinks he's in this match but he has no idea. He's entering a world of pain. A world of hurt... (noise of Newcombe opening the commentary box window, sounds of climbing and of a head bumping the window, then Newcombe's voice more distant as though outside:) ...YOU HEAR ME, BLAKEY??? YOU FUCKING HACK! GO LLEYTON GO! ... COME ON AUSSIE C'MON C'MON ... COME ON AUSSIE C'MON!"

After 10 seconds of silence, Newcombe resumed the commentary by saying: "And that's a nice forehand. 30-15 Blake."

You know, I'm lucky enough that most of my matches are going to be on those two courts. I'm going to know I'm going to play at least when I'm scheduled to play. Sometimes it's a bit of a disadvantage if you go indoors and other guys in your half don't get to play, stuff like that. At the end of the day, TV is a huge thing for tennis. No offense to all the old matches and stuff, when you got to watch it four or five times, it wears you out a bit (laughter). :D :p LMAO @ Lleyton.

In a match as notable for its squawks of frustration as for its tennis, the 15th-seeded team of Kim Clijsters and Meghann Shaughnessy unseated the No. 1 seeded team, reigning US Open champions Lisa Raymond and Rennae Stubbs, in straight sets, 6-4, 7-5.

Under a bright blue sky, it took until almost the end of the second set for each pair to find its footing and supply the kind of rallies that the admittedly small crowd had come to see. In a first set that saw a total of only four winners, each side struggled to gain the upper hand, although by the end of the set, Raymond and Stubbs seemed to have clearly misplaced any momentum they might have had.

In the second set, Shaughnessy finally got her first serve working in a hotly contested second game, and although Clijsters suffered through a couple of shots that used her torso as target practice, the team couldn't quite pull off a game win. Nonetheless, they managed to eventually tie up the set, 5-5, on a lucky break ball that landed just an inch too long and, from there, went on to win the match. They now face 6th-seeded Elena Dementieva and Janette Husarova in the semifinals.

Lleyton is a unique bundle of dynamite that explodes at all times. He applies pressure on all opponents, forcing them to play above their normal level of play. Younes plays very quietly, and even though he is a big man in stature, he says very little and let's the racket do the talking.
Nick's Pick: My sentiments are for El Aynaoui, but the man from Down Under will win in 4 sets.
