Hewitt's love match in jeopardy

Kim Clijsters' parents have banned Lleyton Hewitt from their Belgian residence after a recent brunch with the Aussie tennis ace turned into a "four hour nightmare."

Mr. and Mrs. Clijsters were reported to have been very happy with their daughter Kim's relationship with the Hewitt, until the morning he offered to "whip up a late brekky for everyone."

"He decided to start with some soft-boiled eggs," said Mr. Clijsters. "Which was fine by us. But two seconds after he'd dropped the eggs in the water, he put his face into the saucepan and started screaming, 'C'mon! C'mon!' I told him to ease up a bit, but he told me to get the hell out of the kitchen. It was an awful business. Every time one of the eggs bobbled to the surface of the boiling water, he'd give it an awful spray."

Mrs. Clijsters found the ordeal one of her worst ever breakfast experiences. "He should have just let the eggs alone," she said. "It would only have taken three minutes."

Hewitt lost patience and grabbed the eggs out of the water after only forty seconds.

"Watching him hold onto those scalding hot eggs, running round and round the kitchen, shouting, pumping his fists, going red in the face - I couldn't help wondering if this was the right boy for my Kimmy," said Mrs. Clijsters.

After berating the toaster for ineptness, Hewitt placed the eggs on the middle shelf of the Clijsters' oven. He set the temperature to the maximum of 400 C.

"That really frightened me," said Mrs. Clijsters. "To watch him with his head in an overheating oven, screaming 'C'mon!' at half a dozen eggs - it was worse than the night the fox got into the hen-house. I thought it would ever end."

Kim Clijsters defended her intense boyfriends antics, claiming her mum and dad just didn't understand him, and that Lleyton's behaviour was simply part of the way he cooked his eggs.

However, even Kim's loyalty was tested after Lleyton raced off with the eggs and holed himself up in the sitting room with a hairdryer, a bic lighter, and Mr. Clijsters old soldering iron. "C'mon! C'mon!" was all the Clijsters family heard for the next two hours.

The grueling egg ordeal was only ended when Kim's Swiss backpacker friend Martina dropped by to see how everyone was going.

"Everything was mad," said Mr. Clijsters. "But then Martina arrived. She was like a baboon. Wearing this hilarious outfit and primping and preening. All of a sudden people were laughing like drains, falling this way and that; it was a miracle. Even Lleyton began to smile. I'd like to call Lleyton 'Martina', but I'm afraid of what his reaction might be."

Australian cricketer Mark Waugh refused to comment on the issue, citing legal advice.

WW2?

Erm, Adolf Hitler was the dictator of Germany, which was still reeling from the effects of WW1. He was able to sort of brain wash a lot of the German people into thinking that Jews were the cause of all Germany's problems, which of course wasn't the case. Hitler decided he wanted to take over the world :rolleyes: and got Italy (who was under the Facist leadership of Mussolini) to go in cahoots with them. Japan too.

Great Britain and quite a few other European countries, Belgium included, went to war with Germany, Italy, and Japan. America--which had been embroiled in the Great Depression for years--tried to stay out of it, as Europe is quite a ways away from us.

BUT Japan decided they needed to take us out anyways. So they bombed Pearl Harbor, the US Naval base in Hawaii, and attempted to cripple our Naval fleet so they could take over all the islands and territories in the Pacific Ocean, Australia included.

Sooooo, America joined the war on the side of the Allied Powers, i.e. Great Britain etc. And eventually, in 1945 if memory serves, we defeated Germany and its allies.

Btw, America dropped two atomic bombs on Japan in Hiroshima and Nagasaki because they wouldn't surrender. Those are still the only two atom bombs to be detonated in war.

"It's a boy...Romeo," a beaming David Beckham told reporters outside the exclusive Portland Hospital in central London where Victoria gave birth to the celebrity couple's first child, Brooklyn, three years ago.

"It's just a name we love," the Manchester United star and England captain said when asked why they chose the name of one of William Shakespeare's best-known lovers.

Beckham, looking relaxed in white shirt and matching cap, said his new son weighed in at seven pounds and four ounces (3.36 kg) and mother and baby were doing well. "We're both delighted...(Victoria's) great. She's sitting up in bed."

The soccer star said Brooklyn had been allowed into the operating theater just after the birth, believed to be a second Cesarean section.

"Brooklyn came in when Romeo came out...he absolutely adores him," Beckham said. "(Romeo) look's like Brooklyn. He's gorgeous. He's got Brooklyn's nose and Victoria's chin."

The fact the baby was a "Romeo" and not a "Juliet" confounded Britain's tabloids, which had confidently predicted the baby would be a girl called Paris, after the French capital where "Posh" is believed to love shopping.

Brooklyn was famously named after the area of New York where he was conceived.

Victoria shot to superstardom in the 1990s as part of the "Spice Girls ( news - web sites)" band which has sold about 40 million albums and 25 million singles worldwide and has had nine number one singles in Britain alone.

This year, she has been seeking to salvage her flagging solo career with a new single, "A Mind of its Own."

Meanwhile David, famed for his footballing skills at top English club Manchester United and as England captain, has said he is in talks with British high-street retailer Marks and Spencer to help design a range of boys' clothing.

Both are seen as doting parents. David has a large guardian angel tattooed on his back over Brooklyn's name.

My history and political science classes books were reasonable, and they're the classes I *WANT* to take.

The USED american literature book was $50, the USED math book was $75, and this tiny little paperback book for my old testament class was $70! For a tiny little book! Pfffff.

Marie, right click on the desktop, select "arrange icons by" and then uncheck "auto arrange." Then you can move them where you want them.

To take a picture of your desktop just press the print screen button then paste it into paint or whichever program.... and you can just drag the icons where ever you want :p
