We didn't have family bonding time. We stopped in at my aunt's for an hour after the hockey game... my father and brother weren't even there. And my parents are never ever home so trust me, spending time with me is not number one on their priority list! And who cares if I'm 15 and they already let me go to a party? I'm not asking to go out every weekend, just like once a month, not even that. And besides, who cares? The point is that right now all my friends are out and I'm home and that for the next week the main topic of coversation at school will be what happened at this party so for the next week, I will be a loser because I'll have no idea what the hell went on because I wasn't there :fiery: :fiery: :fiery:

Maybe family bonding time is useful..... I spoke to my mom on the phone last night, and she was complaining about how my sisters basically treat the house like a hotel and go in and out willy-nilly.

However... my mom can be a bit contrary LOL... she'd been complaining for a long time how my sisters go out without telling her, then last month, when my younger sister actually told mom about her plans in advance, mom went crook at her and went, 'and why are you telling me? You never did that in the past!' err.... they haven't spoken to each other since. :o :o

I am actually quite glad I'm away from all the action in my family home too, to be honest....

The last time I was home was in Feb 96, so I've been away from them for an unbroken stretch of nearly 7 years now....which is a lot given I'm 22. People always wonder why I'm not dying from homesickness, but when they find out a bit more about my family, they nod and understand. It is rather sad in a sense.... but if I got any closer to my family, I get saddled with loads of baggage from all directions.
