read my dark poem :D

They love to say
It’s the journey, not the destination
Well, try selling that
To the travelers on this road

Eternity is calling
But the path beneath appalling
The horror is revolving
In the center of the road

The city left behind
Is forever in his mind
The way forward is unkind
To their feet upon this road

No telling what to say
To those they pass along the way
Their faces bespoke dismay
Oh the crimes of that road

As sanity does leave
Though the young child pleas
The destruction that he sees
On the windy lonely road

Emotion has no point
The cold faces have not want
And the dead simply don’t
Need company on this road

Hell has many doors
Hear the horrid roars
With the pounding of the sores
At the end of the road

Fear won’t move for compassion
Only tears in motion
Don’t stir up a commotion
Or they’ll kick you off their road

Now that you are here
Be quick to crowd near
For heat is very dear
To the veterans of the road

As time and space just can’t
You know that you have met
The damned in their descent
Down the road

The Donnas
You've Got A Crush On Me

The show is done
But you're still hangin around
You want some fun
But I'm on my way outta town

You know you wanna hit it
So why don't you just admit it

[Chorus]
You've got a crush on me
And it's easy to see
That you write about me in your diary
You've got a crush on me Never gonna go away

I talked to you
And you tried to play it cool
That's hard to do
When you're wiping off your drool

You know you wanna hit it
So why don't you just admit it

(Chorus)

Your're all alone
Your friends all left cause you were waiting for me
You call my phone
But you'll never get past my caller i.d.

You know you wanna hit it
So why don't you just admit it

(Chorus)

You've got a crush on me
( you've got a crush on me)
You've got a crush on me (3x)

And pff, surely you can think of some way to approach him. You're guys. Talk about sports and scratch or something. :p

Scotso
10-23-2002, 02:56 AM
I can't move because I'm the President of the Congress :fiery:

What if he hates sports  It's possible. He's a redneck I think, do they like sports?

Murkofan
10-23-2002, 02:58 AM
I try not to associate with rednecks. :o Do you know anything about hunting? :p

Scotso
10-23-2002, 02:59 AM
awww but he's so cute! and his voice is adorable.

he smiled at me once, omg I nearly creamed myself.

hunting... you mean like with bows and arrows? :p

Scotso
10-23-2002, 03:00 AM
He's in the agriculture club, maybe I should join. I feel like a stalker. I know so much about him and I doubt he even knows my name.

Murkofan
10-23-2002, 03:01 AM
No, I mean like with rifles and shotguns. :p

It's legal to hunt certain game with crossbows at a certain time of the hunting seasons, but I don't like to do that. It takes so much longer for them to die, and they suffer a lot. You usually end up having to snap their necks.

Scotso
10-23-2002, 03:01 AM
Ugh, it's so hard for gay people. You breeders don't have to worry about getting shot for expressing your affections :p

Murkofan
10-23-2002, 03:02 AM
The agriculture club? Oh yeah, he's a hick. :p

Scotso
10-23-2002, 03:03 AM
omg the poor little animals

unless they're birds. I hate birds.

Murkofan
10-23-2002, 03:03 AM
True, but we still have to worry about being shot down. :p

And don't call me a breeder. I'm not a horse. :p Or British royalty, for that matter. :p

Scotso
10-23-2002, 03:04 AM
I shot a pigeon once with my BB gun when I was little, it flapped around for like 5 minutes. I started crying and didn't stop for hours when my mom finally convinced me I wasn't going to hell for it.

Murkofan
10-23-2002, 03:05 AM
Poor little animals. :p

Deer are typically not little. And neither are their necks. :p

Murkofan
10-23-2002, 03:06 AM
Stupid, you should've shot it again and put it out of it's misery. :p

Scotso
10-23-2002, 03:06 AM
I'm not really worried about him. He doesn't seem violent. He might have a gun but he'd have to go get it and I'd be long gone. If he tried to use his fists to beat me down I'd kick his ass. He's not very big and I'm a tough guy. Most people in that class love me. I wonder if I would have been elected if they knew I was gay!

Well I am French, so free love is sort of in my character.

Scotso
10-23-2002, 03:07 AM
I'm used to breaking animal's necks. My cats bring in everything

Murkofan
10-23-2002, 03:08 AM
Sure you would've been. Your sexual orientation has nothing to do with the fact that you're lovely. And rather dishy, to boot. ;)

And yes, it's odd how you get used to snapping critters' necks, isn't it? :p

Scotso
10-23-2002, 03:09 AM
I should just email him and be like, you have the sexiest ass ever. And then see how he looks at me in class.

Murkofan
10-23-2002, 03:11 AM
Dude, where the hell is your Gay-Dar? :p

Scotso
10-23-2002, 03:11 AM
I'm extra shy now because last year I was really attracted to this one guy that I was sure was flirting with me, so I told him he was cute and he said "my girlfriend thinks so too"

I was so smacked down. I mean, he didn't have to be so rude about it

Murkofan
10-23-2002, 03:12 AM

I don't really have one. Well, I can pick lesbians out easily, but not queer boys :o

Murkofan
10-23-2002, 03:13 AM
Sorry, but lmao at that story. :o And he probably thought he was being nice. He could've given you a disgusted look and called you a mean name or something.

Scotso
10-23-2002, 03:14 AM
Well he could have said "thanks but i'm not gay" and that would have been fine... but pffffff... "my girlfriend thinks so too"

I should have asked him if she knew he's a faggot :fiery:

Murkofan
10-23-2002, 03:16 AM
Now that would've been mean. :p

And pff, I'm sure being hit on by another guy wasn't a regular thing for him. I mean, how would you react? If some girl made a pass at me, I'd probably stare at her all goggle-eyed  and be like, "Umm........" which isn't much better.

Scotso
10-23-2002, 03:16 AM
I get used to being hit on by girls! Deal with it people! :p We gays need some lovin' too :p

And she would love to get married on a beach in Australia but her grandmothers and grandfathers aren't not really anymore 'fly capable' ( don't know how to say it :o) And she still don't know what to do when she will stop playing tennis but she said something about tennis or with children or maybe opening a 'frietkot' (don't know the translation for this word) in Australia because everytime she and Lleyton arriving in Zaventem he can't go fast enough to the 'frietkot' in Bree...

Hi Lena!

Thanks for the info!

I'll ring the newspaper shop here to keep an edition for me, I'd like to read this funny article!

the 'frietkot' is something so typically Belgian: it prepares/sells french fries! (although nothing French about it LOL). It's like the fish and chips in the UK. A Belgian version of fast food.

Here's a computer translation of a text about Lleyton and Jaslyn's boyfriend, original article comes from a Swedish newspaper.

The translation looks a bit weird, like all automatic stuff, but as I can't master Swedish LOL, enjoy it! :o :p
I've posted the accompanying pic in the new lleyton pics thread.:)

---
‘Pim-Pim’ can remain –x- despite loss

Joachim Johansson lost doubles with sweetheart’s brother Lleyton Hewitt, world number one.

It was one doubles but Joachim "Pim-Pim" Johansson can approve of Lleyton Hewitt though.

“He must continue to meet”, says the world number one.

The Swedish player Joachim Johansson and the Australian Lleyton Hewitt became a doubles pair thanks to Jaslyn Hewitt.

Lleyton’s –x- (little?) sister is with ‘Pim-Pim’ since two years.

“His serve is good”

But it was no –x-? after the match.

“Me is the closed in the family Hewitt as a matter not wherein here and meet Joachim and his orphan, so it was on time”, says Lleyton Hewitt. (this can’t be a proper translation LOL)

That is one –x- (advantage?) to get on center court with the world number one as a result.

“It was easy playing the doubles”, he says. And despite the loss fortunate ‘Pim-Pim’ impresses. “Anyway, he is able to serve, that is certain. Joachim is able to play all kinds of tennis and has a great future”, says Lleyton Hewitt.

Thomas Enqvist is now waiting for the Australian in the singles. One of the toughest –x- (draws?) one might get. It was wherein beautiful that few sneak into the tournament, but now it directly becomes a big challenge.

END

I think this calls for some Swedish language experts!
Let me know if you can improve this crappy translation of my computer program please, think we need some help here LOL.

Oh, for heaven's sake.
Ok, my GUESS is that Lleyton said he wanted to come to Sweden to meet Joachim and his family? Oy.

And "He must continue to meet" is, I think, something to the extent of, "He will continue to perform," because according to this dictionary, the words for "meet" and "perform" are the same.

My friend used to have a feature on her website where she fed song lyrics into an online translator and then translated them back to English. The challenge was to figure out what the song originally was.

I don't think any of us will ever forget that debacle.

And yes, I think he's going for too much. He's somehow convinced himself that his first serve needs to be faster, when there really wasn't much of a problem with it before. I mean, hello, he won the '01 US Open with his old serve! And I'd rather he have more 1st serves in with a slightly lower speed, than more missed serves and dfs with a few more aces. PFFFFF.

Yeah, there was a lot of speculation that Glynn pressured Darren to leave because of personal problems--his own, not Lleyton's.
I personally think the wisest thing Lleyton can do is to hire back Darren once Andre retires, because while I'm sure Jason is a decent coach, he just can't have the same experience.

Hania

10-23-2002, 07:37 PM
Well, grass is a different surface than hardcourts. :p And Rochey or one of those other Aussie guys said that at Wimby this year, Lleyton was in the same zone as he was when he won the US Open.

So imo, he needs to take some off his first serve and get back into that zone again. :p

A 5-2 lead down the drain :o Yes & you and Ingrid convinced me to tape that disatourous match  :o :p Yeah I don't understand why he's going for so much more. I mean in the match Vs DH he was going for some ridiculous serves down the Middle T on a 2nd serve, he seemed determined to hit the line  There's no need for that. I agree he just has to get his serves in and he can work the point effectively from therin like he used to do.

I personally think the wisest thing Lleyton can do is to hire back Darren once Andre retires, because while I'm sure Jason is a decent coach, he just can't have the same experience.

Yeah but I doubt that will happen. DH wants to carry on for a few more years   & I'm not sure LL would swallow his pride and ask back Darren and I'm sure his Dad would put his 2 cents in   Though hopefully he will have got rid of the parents by then :p But who cares about Pride when there's GS's @ stake!

Way to go Lleyt, broken to 15

A 5-2 lead down the drain :o Yes & you and Ingrid convinced me to tape that disatourous match  :o :p Yeah I don't understand why he's going for so much more. I mean in the match Vs DH he was going for some ridiculous serves down the Middle T on a 2nd serve, he seemed determined to hit the line  There's no need for that. I agree he just has to get his serves in and he can work the point effectively from therin like he used to do.

& Hi Coach Sessions :p

I still cannot believe he didn't get that set with a 5-2 lead. I mean, the old Lleyton would NEVER let a 5-2, two break lead slip away!

And  again at the match against DH. What pure and utter crap! It's almost as if he doesn't WANT to work the points anymore because he's starting to believe he'll be a victim of early burnout.

Coach J (yes, that's the same person as Coach Sessions :p ) is totally cool, btw. :D He's my sister's ex-boyfriend :o, the brother of our joint best friend (who is also my ex-Pre Cal and Calculus teacher) and my ex-Pre Algebra and volleyball/basketball coach. Small world, eh? :p

What's going on? He's sucking ass, that's what's going on. He's trying to give away number one to DH without making it look tooooo obvious.

I can't help it! It's not fair, Agassi hasn't even won a slam, and he missed one at the beginning of the year!
And I'm not exaggerating when I say, I can't remember the last time LL served over 50%
