I don't know. I think he will win something, to get the monkey off his back if for no other reason. Maybe Marsailles?

I do hope so! It MUST be his time now! I would love to see him win Basel again because he loves it there so much and came so close last year. Or maybe Barcelona or Rotterdam?

I know he'll win a TMS and some other minor tournament as well!
He's got enough tennis to do it! :yeah:
Hey, I guessed the QF one, why not this one too! :)

I do too. He needs to carry this self-belief in his future matches.

He doesn't have any points to defend from the European indoor season and the American hardcourt one. So this could be great for him!

He'll win a tournament this year for sure. :p

Hopefully he can win something early into the season and then can use that to catapult him to greater success through the rest of the year. He's definitely very close to achieving something special.

all my wishes to:

Win Wimbledon or Basel by beating Roger Federer in the final
Win US Open or any TMS in USA by beating Andy Roddick in the final
Win Madrid or Paris TMS by beating Marat Safin in the final

it's not too much, david, we know you can do them all!

jazz_girl
02-01-2005, 03:07 PM
Yeah, it's not too much to ask :haha:
Poor guy, we started asking for just one tournament and we end up asking him to win it all by beating the best LOL

Hamburg would be nice! Coz I think I'll be there the whole week - so I'm just being completely egoistic here ;)

But seriously: The main thing is he wins SOMETHING! And then another ... and another ...

I would like for David to win any tournament. It wouldn't matter. Once he does win, he will start doing so on a regular basis.

Absolutely. Maybe in the hard court season? He's overdue for an HC title.

jazz_girl
05-08-2005, 12:12 PM
Or a grass one...Although, if wants another clay tourny, I won't be mad...especially if there are only 2 clay tournaments left and they're a TMS and a GS

And I think I'll faint from shock if he wins both.

05/09 Hamburg (TMS)
08/08 Toronto (TMS)
08/15 Cincinnati (TMS)
10/17 Madrid (TMS)
10/31 Paris (TMS)
These are the ones left...Maybe Madrid...He usually starts playing better at the end of the year...

Thanks for bumping this up :) I just checked that I originally voted on IS (done, Munich) and Masters Series.

Now I hope he'll win Vienna (or at least go far) coz I'll probably be there all week (being completely egoistic once again ;)).
