I was also on Mayer, but compared to bad gambler relatively small... I'd never expected that Mayer sucks that much and that he gets beaten THIS way by Blake who just returned from several months out due to injury

but I hope that Mayer can turn around his season, still lots of time left! :yeah:

Mayer has problems with his brain. Until he doesn't get a new brain you can forget him. If the pressure is high he crumbles. Blake is always doing fine in Melbourne and definately was looking forward to play against Lleyton. We all know the past between these two.

So he was even more motivated to win this match.

Bilbo, what pressure? first round match....

you can talk about pressure when playing a quarterfinal/semifinal, but not against Blake in a 1st round

Grand Slam = pressure

Believe me this guy has weak nerves and is very nervous in a lot of matches. I saw a lot of his matches and this result doesn't surprise me.

I see your reasoning, but according to that Wimbledon wouldn't be a Grand Slam then.

Bilbo, I'm just shocked as bad as he must have played, but he can do much better and I'm confident he will show that. He's still having phyical troubles and will get over it some time that he had a good last season.

Even with weak nerves he can do a much better job.
