I saw Hernych play yesterday and the guy has pretty good groundstrokes so it will be an interesting match :) but hopefully JC will win!!! VAMOS!

roisin
01-10-2005, 10:00 PM
hey hey, if its groundstrokes we're talking bout, nobody can beat jc in that department.

(back me up here ppl! i need some hope that jc's gonna do well this yr! but then again i think we all need some of that)

Hernych can be dangerous, he reached the quarters of TMS Toronto last year, beating Guga in the 3rd round (Guga had just beaten Henman). JC will have to be careful, but I'm confident he can win this:D!

GOOOOOOO JCCCC:bounce:!!!!!!!

I ran out of internet so i couldn't put anything on him and now it's closed. But i would have put everything on him to win. And i'm expecting him to get to at least the quarters.

ahhwhwhw JC!!! you crazy boy, against a fuckin qualifier!!

I'm disappointed now. everybody wanted him to make a new start, he obviously can't do it yet, he's still in his form-crisis.

but JC? WE LOVE YOU! don't forget that! doesn't matter if you win or lose, you're ok.

ok this is bad...I had a sneaky suspicion he might lose to Hernych but then I thought no, JC will be better now...AND HE'S NOT! :banghead: he'd better get his act together by Melb...3-6 1-6 in the last 2 sets, that's pathetic *sigh*

he'll get better, but how did he play and act in this match?....it seems from last year and this as if he cant finish off matches, and in the past - that was anyone but Juanca, I wonder if it's still a physical problem for him, but as a first match I can understand it....hope he gets good draw in Melbourne, what is a good draw for him in this moment?...well i don't know, but he's gotta get himself together, vamos chavalito!!!!!

Well last year he lost his first match didn't he, and then he kicked ass at the Australian. 4 Spaniards out in one day (ferrero, moya, nadal and robredo.) All we can do is support our guys and prey that he gets his form back, it's not going to happen overnight, but what bothers me is that last year it was 2nd round losses, now it's 1st round losses.

yeah, wow, all my favourite men are struggling.... even despite his year last year, I had a feeling his game would just pick up like that again... but obviously I was wrong

Rafa pulled out of his singles match because of illness, so they didn't play the doubles match as well.

oh well, theres still 353 days left for him to have a good 2005, he won't stay in this slump, he's too good for that. Mabye someone put a curse on all the spaniards, we don't know what happened. Now we've got a grand slam to worry about.

It's too bad that he has lost his first match in year
but almost all Spanish lost that day. I guess we will see what is his real shape after AO. So finger crossed :yeah:

Well, Hernych made it to the Final at Auckland against Fernando Gonzalez. That makes me feel a little bit better... at least he didn't go crashing out in the second round or something. Hernych must be a decent player at least. *trying to be optimistic* :)

at least hernych did well. And ferrero drew another qualifier at the AO and i'm really scared now. Possible 3rd round with Coria which I might be going to if my mum lets us. My two faves playing against eachother, how great is that.

Oops, guess Herynch only made it to the semis. Thanks Luna  Dratted livescore! :)

That would be SO awesome if you could go to that match Mary-Lee! Now we just have to hope and pray that he can make it that far!

roisin
01-14-2005, 04:34 PM
yeah qualifiers arent the easiest to beat cos they're fresh and have a few matches under they're belts already. i wonder who the qualifier is....

Ferrero Forever
01-15-2005, 09:33 AM
the qualifier is Melle Van Germeden, they've never played before. And i'm not allowed to go to the coria/ferrero match at the moment (but i will work on it) but i'll be happy just to see him once and it's looks like tuesday will be the big day for me as he isn't on mondays OOP
