04-24-2005, 04:43 PM
Yep! i will definately go those 3 days (and ill look at the qualies list and see if its worth going) baring in mind i pay 23£ a day to get there lol! so in reality qualies are gonna cost me 23£
Maybe i will see you there! i dont even know your age, or if your male or female lol! i havent actually met anyone from mtf/wtaworld before

PinkFeatherBoa
04-24-2005, 10:33 PM
 Yeah, me neither. I'm 19, female BTW. I'm glad my transport costs aren't so high, i have to pay £6 a day, so not too bad.
Maybe see you there then.

ahh right, i am 18! where are you travelling from?
I hope to get to victoria at about 10.15-20 and then get onto the tube which i believe will take 10-15 minutes? i would have liked to get there earlier, but it costs 36.50 for the train if i leave 15 minutes earlier (before 8am) instead of 19.90

I have just realised! if there is a rain delay and no play, even if i get the tickets back? i am going to lose the 23£ from travel! knowing my luck this will probably happen

Joe, I don't think rain stopped play last year, I think the week of Queens actually manages to stay dry, surprisingly enough. Yeah it's a risk but, what can you do a?

i have just had some great news! it seems they have changed an exam to the monday i have bought tickets for :( damn it, i have to check and if it is right (ill have to see if i can cancel the tickets) if not ill try and sell them on here or something. Man thats really annoying as it means i have to revise the few days before as well, i really want to go the tennis and my uni course is actually really shit and boring :(

Ok, it seems my friend was right! we do have an exam on the monday! it was right at the bottom of the list in tiny little font lol.
So i have just emailed queens tickets, and asked if i could change the monday ticket for a thursday ticket (or if they can cancel the order and ill reorder). if neither is succesful, i may sell my ticket on here if anyone is interested.
Price would be 12.50£ including postage (face value, but if you order from then you have to pay 2.50 transaction fee as well as the 12.50) This ticket is for the monday, and ill let you know how it works out

I'll be getting the first train from home to Charing Cross that leaves after 9.30 (i think it's 9.38- it costs more earlier), which takes 20 mins. Then underground for another 15-20 mins but it's direct. Your underground journey would probably be a similar time length, as my stop is two stops away (about 15 mins).

No, the pic isn't me- long story.

Bad luck over the exam, I have the same thing with my Day one Wimbly tickets, so I have to go late. Hope you manage to get an exchange or a refund. :)

I'm going and the last two times I've been the weather has been great but this year I'm not so sure.

Anyone know what the policy is for when it's raining regarding tickets?

Are they valid for the next day, do you get a refund etc.etc.

I would imagine you get free rain insurance. That rain insurance entitles you to refund only, under circumstances such as less than one hours play for example, from time of arrival/stated on ticket(?) It would be necessary to send the ticket via post to the organisers or whatever, in order to recieve the refund.
