The "Where is Roger" thread

There are a couple weeks till the season starts again. Any clue where Roger is currently? :D

right now i'd say he's probably snoozing off in his own bed in Bottmingen... he did say he was gonna go to Australia middle of this month to start training already for the new season...

So he is going to go to Australia, then to Qatar, then back to Australia Mrs.B?

I think hell be in australia preparing for the 2005 tournament and maybe back to Basel for xtmas and new year? Then to Doha?

He wont be at the Swiss sport star of 2004 on Saturday :sad: - so I think he is already going to Australia...

Yea Roger...glad he is off to Australia and down to business...enough fun :) hope he doesn't travel back and forth because that is tiring. Good luck 2005!!!!!

That would allow him something like ten days to prepare for 2005 in Australia, even for Roger this might be a little short. Like all of you I don't know, but I don't think he will come back to Europe for Xmas! Honestly, I consider his schedule in early 2005 too overloaded, playing Doha, Kooyong and the AO in a row, but Roger has made so many right decisions this year, that I hope things will turn out fine for him again.

So it is safe to assume he is in OZ already I guess :D Can't wait for the 2005 season to start. I am so looking forward to see if Roche will help Rogi to bring anything new to the table.

I agree with you Puschkin but Kooyong even though players treat it like a real tourney, it is only 3 matches played I think(?) so shouldn't be that taxing on Rogi.

As far as I understood it, Roger is already in Australia as Tony isn't too keen into traveling any more he had to go down ;) As for the Swiss Sports Awards - he will get up early so swiss TV can make a live conection to him .(it's almost certain that he will win again.)
Don't think he'll be back in Europe this year - that really wouldn't make any sence as the trip is just far too long for that and would use too much energy - but yes he'll go to Doha from Australia and back.

That is the problem! I saw him on ZDF program and he looks absolutely the same than before the holiday: may be he had bad wether all the time.......

As far as i know he come to South Africa last year in december , so he should arrive soon. he has a mansion somewhere in the north of the o****ry.

wowow, COULD BE SO NICE TO SEE THE HOUSE FROM OUTSIDE. DO YOU HAVE A PHOTO? I WOULD NOT DISTURB HIM, BUT ID TRY TO GO TO WALK EVERYDAY FOR THAT ZONE TO SEE IF I CAN " FORCE " A MEETING... (i always walk 3000 mtrs a day here!) HEEEEEEE :worship: :wavey:
So Rogi has a mantion in S Africa. what about Suitzerland? Its a normal home or a Mansion, too? Any detail you can share? I imagine a big house, especially if he wants to keep family together.

I think, when I will ever visit my uncle again, I'll ask him if he knows where Rogi lives and ask him if he'll show me the house. Me as well would never disturb him, but I would just like it to see his house :crazy:

it's a multifamilyresidence with 6 flats( i think), Mirka and Roger live in the flat upmoast with a big balcony with beautifull view over the valley, you can mostly see to the town of Basel and the other side to France. Behind the house there is a little forest, you only listen to the whistles of the birds :) :) :)
