 I wanted Spain and Argentina in opposite halfs

France and Spain will do I guess :D

TBE- maybe revenge over the yanks? *if* they meet won't they play at home in SPain? In which case it would be likely Moya-Ferrero-Corretja-Costa-someoneelse vs Andy and James on clay? :D Me likes the sound of that ;)

Dont they take turns?

Like if the USA played Spain at home the last time, then they play in Spain for the next tie?

Right?

I know, Max will kick our ass.
Besides, the Israeli team's captain (Amos Mansdorf) said we have a better chance on a faster court... Good to know we have a captain that knows something about tennis ey?

Really? :p
I would say they should pick some very slow red clay. :D

Anyway, its gonna be TOUGH! Enqvist is one of the "indoor monsters", and they have all Bjorkman, Johansson, Norman, Larsson... Enough for three DC teams. :p

Maybe Guga can be on top form and Andre can play the singles. If he made it on grass, he could do it on carpet too. He played a very close match with Safin and beat Kratochvil this week. I still think it will be interesting.

And then maybe if we can win, we can get the revenge against the Aussies. ON GRASS! :p lol

Really? Bad luck of Team USA if they have to play on clay.

Its only fair they get their bums whipped on clay (if they can't beat the French on clay, against the Spaniards will be embarassing), seeing as they embarrass the Spaniards on grass ;) (or tried to anyhow, thankyou Alex Corretja).

TheBoiledEgg
10-05-2002, 08:27 AM
i dont think Carlos will get in :o

Ferrero, Costa, Corretja and Balcells will be the 4 unless one is injured
Balcells is the doubles man and Alex will always get in as he partners Balcells
so that leaves either Moya or Costa

Let us wait and see next year; I think it is a little early to think who will be on the daviscupteam. It depends also a little from the results in the first months in 2003. They always look to those results before they choose their players.
And in 2002 moyke is the best spanish player on clay.
But Costa is still before him in the entry list; So I think we must wait and see what the results from moyke and costa will be in 2003 during the hardcourt season in january.

Belgium will lose 5-0 with this draw :( :( Pfft and with a good draw we could have done some damage in next year's Daviscup
