This comperatively cheap victory against this Brazilian guy, ranked about #230 back then, was his last ATP maindraw win BEFORE going into this week's action in Indy :haha:

And now he is beating high ranked people like Hrbaty on his way to his first three match ATP maindraw winning streak since September 2000, before losing to Safin in the semifinals of Tashkent. Also notable, the year before already, in 1999, he even made the final in Tashkent, losing to the guy in my avatar.

Sure, I see, Fish helped him with his injury, but it's still an interesting story I think! ;)

More than 300 free tickets will be handed out to citizens from Great Britian and Switzerland for the first round clash between young tennis star Andy Murray and George Bastl and in the $550,000 Thailand Open 2005 tomorrow.

Event organizer BEC Tero Entertainment said more than 300 free tickets will be handed out for tourists or expats living in Thailand holding passports issued by Great Britain and Switzerland.

Citizen of those countries are asked to bring along their passports for identification.

Murray, 18, who lost to Argentine David Nabadian in five sets in this year’s Wimbledon, will meet Bastl Tuesday evening.

His website hasn't been updated since November last year. I guess he's injured or just didn't bother making the trip to Australia, like so many others. Qualifying draw is so weak :help:

It seems that it is the first time in 5 years that he qualified for the main draw in a Masters Series Tournament, and not he won the 1st round 6-7 6-1 6-4!! :yeah: According to a source, he could have won the first set tiebreak as he led it 5-1, but at last lost 5-7.
