Didn't you know - I happen to be Tim Henman.

If you er want to know what I think about this er site - I don't really take into account what er fans and the media say about me. Most of them are completely er ignorant as to, you know, what I have er achieved in my career, you know, and I er think that they aren't really, you know, in a position to er judge me on my results, good or bad.

I'm well aware that, you know, my career will be er judged on whether I er win Wimbledon or not, and, you know, it annoys me that a lot of the er so-called, you know, fans and followers of tennis don't take into account how well I have er done over the years.

I mean, some players should better read not too carefully... LOL

Roddick: thousands of hate threads about him, 90% are happy when he is losing... and not because their fav won, but because the player they hate lost
Nalbandian: reads that he should better pull out of the US Open
Kiefer: every match he is playing, he is drawing haters and always is GoDom cheering against him
Schalken: people hope that his injury woes continue
...

just a few examples... and not to forget about all our clever comments how we had done it, how we made their schedules, how we reacted in this situation...

I think it was Becca the one that found an interview in which Voltchkov said some bad things about the Argentine players, something like they were all drug addicts. It was during the DC QF. And an Argentinian journalist read it from here, and wrote an artile about it. A whole mess started and Voltchkov had to apologize.

Not to mention the fact that when I starting calling Stepanek "Rumplestiltskin" during Paris TMS apparently some commentators on German tv also adopted that nickname for him :scared:

there was an incident over on wtaworld that made it clear that Anna Kournikova visited that site; she responded to folks questioning whether her boobs were real.

i think there was another incident involving Navratilova but i can't remember the details of that one.

i know for a fact that a lot of tennis writers cruise tennis boards both to get and to develop ideas. a lot of tennis columns are inspired by these discussions.

also, some posters work officially for certain players. check out some of the "employees" of the Williams Tennis Association over on wtaworld. their job in part is to respond to all negative criticism of the sisters and to keep them as a topic of conversation.

bottom line is that i think most people can't resist finding out what's being said about them. human beings are intensely curious animals. maybe that's why the Duck tries so hard to give the media the impression that he's a nice guy. he's painfully aware of how disliked he is here and on some other boards. :tape: :tape:
