I'm very nice.

I really think Andy can sweep everything after the clay season. His game should be peaking then.

i think andy will maybe win a couple of those little american tournaments, like san diego, memphis and that kinda stuff, not exceeding one or two masters and that's it. no gs, no way masters cup. just imo. federer's gonna win a lot, safin maybe gets a gs, coria or federer go alone in the french open. not to forget: lleyton, he's back and hot.

An injury to the big cheese is the only way Roddick can win a major tournament in 2005.

It's possible.

Or, for Roland Garros, those 100 annoying Spanish guys that all play the same, get injured also.

Patrick says Andy has a great game for clay though!

Here is what Tennisguru thinks

Doha - (not going to Doha)
Melbourne - Finalist.
San Jose - Win.
Indian Wells - Semifinals.
Miami - Semifinals (will loose to Safin or Hewit)
Whatever US clay tourneys there are now - Win (not 100% sure).
Roland Garros - 2nd round at max
Queens - Win. (If Ancic doesn't beat him)
Wimbledon - Semifinal (Will fall to Hewitt or Ancic or Karlovic)
Montreal - Final
Cincinnati - Win.
US Open - Semis.
Indoor events - Qaurters.
Masters Cup - Semis.

I think this sounds more correct and real!!

my predictions...;)

Melbourne - withdraws after 2nd round
San Jose - skips
Indian Wells - gets boo'd by crowd after tanking against Fish
Miami - loses to Agassi in Round 3
Whatever US clay tourneys there are now - Loses every single one(100% sure).
Roland Garros - 1st round
Queens - loses in semis
Wimbledon - loses in QF's
Montreal - loses in QF's
Cincinnati - loses in Finals
US Open - loses in QF's
Indoor events - 2nd round average
Masters Cup - doesn't qualify :p :p

If you're the #1 seed at Wimbly, you're going down, and hard, to the Croatian really tall guy.

This would be great if Andy could accomplish it. I think he can do all of them, but Roland Garros. I would be bouncing off the walls if he made it to the quarterfinals at Roland Garros.

But king of tennis have won 3 tiebreaks against king of tiebreakers (who has won just 1 in gastad).
But well 6 feet 10 inches king of tiebreakers would be the man to watch at next wimby,
2003- Hewitt
2004- Srichapan
2005--------????????

Last thing any player wants to do is to play against Ivo in the first round....
Ask Tim Henman, who was nearly out in the first round of the US open.

Roddick had one of the easiest RG draws I've ever seen from a number 2 seed, and he still coulden't get past the 2nd round. What does this tell you?

Are you saying she is not happy running his website and having to congratulate him every single day? I bet she wishes he'd lose just once!!

This post reminds me of that commercial with Andy not having a trophy to irritate people with on the plane, and the girl says, "Can I sit with you, there's a guy with an obnoxious trophy back there."

Roger takes a hiatus until Wimbledon, considering the Messiah will be number one, even if he doesn't play until then.

Roddick is not going to win a slam next year because he, IMO, has overacheived in his career. He can't beat Federer now, so what makes you think he'll beat him then? Federer will win 3 slams again except for RG!

I see him falling away further - he will find it tough to contend with Federer, Hewitt, Safin, Ferrero, Nalbandian and Henman week in week out. I can't see him winning a GS next year but maybe 1 Masters tournament. He'll clean up any of those small American tournaments though. He should finish next year inside the top 5 - maybe no higher than 5.

no no no. i like roddick. he has good energy a great serve and forehand. his movement and backhand are getting better all the time. this is what i think. definitely will not win the australian. he has no form or confidence. french depends on his draw...if tough could lose early. wimbledon depends on when he has to play federer who will beat him again...same for the us
