I'm posting this before running off to school so I won't be here to see any replies for a while.

I was just curious if anyone knows what happened to Hugo Armando? He hasn't played any events this summer and I'm getting a bit concerned.

Well the injury isn't good news, but the fact that he will be back soon certainly is.

Thanks Mala!

It'll take him a while to get up to snuff :(

Did this player retired?
I think he also had problems with doping.

It appears so, he is 32 and hasn't played since 2008 where he struggled pretty badly.

Yep, he retired in 2008 and has been working as a USTA coach in 2009 & 2010.

He had quite a lot of talent, but several factors prevented him from showing his best.

His match against Seppi in Bucharest was phenomenal
