MTF Showdown: Roddick v. Coria!

Hmmm. I see a trend about. Roddick threads no longer drown MTF, and Coria seems to have replaced him as "Mr. Unpopular."

Well, let's see...

(Full disclosure: I'm a Coria fan. I like his personality. I'm not a Roddick fan, but give him props for the Houston sneaks.)

It's like a choice of dying, you have a choice of which way you want to die, but the result is exactly the same.

Hmm, I am finding it VERY difficult to choose. I may say Coria, but only just.

Yes, this was a good one :yeah:

I voted for Coria, of course :)

For the record I did vote for Coria, it wasn't really that hard of a decision.

of course Coria will win this poll (thanks to my and other votes). ;) :p

I assumed you would judge based on prefered gamestyle, so it went without saying ;)

As the choice was between these two - and just these two, there was no choice - it had to be Coria.

He has a good shot at "of the TMC players, whose hairlines is receeding the most?" too.

It wasn't just on gamestyle, but Coria does use something called a brain when he is on court, more than our esteemed ace machine is capable of doing.

I abstained from voting on the grounds that I dislike them equally  , although Coria has a more interesting and intelligent game than Roddick.

Coria being the former and Roddick the latter, I assume? Well, I don't like either of their personalities but Coria certainly has the more entertaining game, so he edges it for me too.

In terms of their games- I vote Coria. But in terms of their on court behaviour- I vote Roddick. When they behave like asses on court, at least Roddick is funny to watch.

I don't think my opinion means as much, cos I'm one of those unpopular people who likes them both. Well, I like Guille more, actually, so not a hard choice for me either.

Guille was so lovable in his match against Marat! And he got all the crowd support! :D

 We heard you the first zillion times, Rosie: you hate Coria and Roddick. How often do you feel the need to repeat this over and over and over again? Geez.
I wonder if Rosie can make it through a day--just one day--without mentioning her beloved/hated Coria and Roddick?

Seriously, for somebody who claims to despise these players, she sure does have one of the biggest hard-ons for them.

You're becoming redundant and tiresome. But then, you always were. I know that's a rather unimaginative retort, but it seems an appropriate one.

Tangerine, surely your suggestion that Rosie possesses a hard-on is lacking in a certain grasp of the fundamentals of human anatomy? Mind you, I suppose you could be implying something rather more insulting in saying that...

Sjengster

Exactly, you should be pleased that in a year of Federer domination Roddick is still getting equal amounts of hyperbole and thread space generated about him in GM. Really, all these threads prove is the old adage that it's easier to talk about something you don't like than something you do, not that said haters have a "hard-on" for Roddick. Sexual arousal is generally not a reaction incurred by excessive dislike of someone or something, although I'm sure cod-Freudian theorists would be happy to dispute this one with me.

And you're not redundant and tiresome? Oh, ok then.:retard: Every poster posts the same pretty much everytime so we're just all redundant it seems.

I was talking about these types of threads. Everyone keeps on hating on everyone else. These hating threads will very soon start to rival the sex/body part threads.

LOL - Sjengster! As I now have the tangerine one on IGNORE I didn't know she was still insulting me!! But nice to know from your post that she still seems to be showing the lack of class and basic intelligence that made me put her on IGNORE in the first place! Discussions I enjoy - but when posters BadRep me with 4-letter words and comments about how I need brain surgery - well they are better off ignored in my opinion. And - yes - of course she was trying to be more insulting - she gets her sad kicks out of that, even though she knows the person she is trying to insult can't be bothered to read her posts anymore. How obsessive is that! Thanks for your support anyway :)

The fact that you have me on IGNORE doesn't make you any less of a hypocritical, two-faced, dumbass, Rosie, and I'm going to keep calling you out on your bullshit whether you have me on IGNORE of not. Besides, I have a lot of faith in my stalker troll, Fedex, who I can count on to report back to you my whereabouts and posting habits. I'm flattered that many in the Nalby forum are obsessed with me.

Please continue to find new ways to say "I hate you" about Coria and Roddick. I don't think you've covered all the bases yet.

Don't worry Rebecca - I never read her posts. What's the point of putting someone on IGNORE if you're going to log out and read their posts every 5 minutes? I shall remain in blissful ignorance of her latest comments - somehow don't think I'll lose any sleep over the issue one way or another.

Really - I thought that was the only way to read someone's posts when you had them on IGNORE! Ah well - guess that proves I've never bothered to try and read any of hers then doesnt it! I can somehow imagine it contains a few playground insults and perhaps the odd mention of either Sigma or Fedex though, as she's quite unimaginative in her insults considering how clever she always says she is!!

I love how you pretend to ignore me. And please continue to show everyone what a jackass you truly are. Your obsession with hating certain players has gone beyond pathetic.

By the way Rosie, does this quote of yours look familiar?

"I love the way Juanqui Lover supports J-C so totally - but she is NEVER horrible about other players like a lot of other single-minded fans. Go for it JL!"

Seeing as how you're not bright enough to figure out how the IGNORE! function works, I doubt you'll be able to see your hypocritical self reflected in your own words.
