Awww! Sounds great. As they switched here from studio to the court, I saw some people lined up for a ceremony, but they didn't cover it. Oh well, I shall look forward to the pix :)

I probably missed how gracious Mac was in ESPN's broadcast. I only saw him sitting with Bush Sr., clapping his hands but looked like he ate something not so gentle to his stomach.

Pity they didn't show it on tv (they're Eurosport of course, why would they show something as irrelvant as that :rolleyes: ). But I am also glad to hear Jim was gracious to Roger- so far it seems as if he really is trying to learn from his mistakes last year.

I got a peice of Roger's cake (i'm reporting for a US newspaper), and boy was it sweet! So sweet in fact i got a stomach ache for the next hour. The red icing and marzipan made it quite rich. Wonder what Roger thought of it? Not as sweet as his 3 Grand Slams and no.1 ranking this year i'm sure. Caught a glimpse of him hitting with Canas on a practice court a few minutes ago. Seems Canas is the no.9 in the absence of Agassi and Nalbandian. :cool:

I'm glad ESPN showed his acceptance speech. It was a nice bonus. Roger sounded like a consummate professional. He is very polished. I'm so happy for all the success he's had this year.
