Here is a matrix I made with all the TMS winners.

EDIT (Sept 8/08): I am discontinuing this thread because someone else made a better page on Wikipedia.

Federer will in little more than one month from now only be behind Agassi and Sampras, that is awesome for someone as young as Federer!

bump

I just noticed that my list and Escude's list differ. His list is probably correct. I think I messed up on the Essen tourney. I'll fix it at a later time when I have more free time.

EDIT:

Fixed. Funny thing is that the double list seems correct. Go figure.

Thanks for the update! Federer is now only 1 TMS title away from Sampras! :yeah:
It wouldn't be impossible for Roger to win all 9 TMS titles at least once. A feat which ought to be called The Grand Master. Sounds almost better than Grand Slam.

Darkheart :yeah:

I don't think Fed will win all nine. MC will probably be too tough.

MC is the only one I worry about for Roger. But if by any chance he decides to play MC and not Rome or Hamburg, he'll have a chance.

Very interesting stats :yeah: I'm surprised that neither player didn't win all TMS in doubles. Good luck Jonas & Max!

After winning IW, Nadal has now won 5 different TMS events, equalling among others Pete Sampras and Marcelo Rios.
Like Federer, he ha a realistic shot of winning them all. Hamburg would be a matter of just competing for Rafa, and with his current form there's no reason (well except Federer perhaps), why he wouldn't be able to win Miami and Cincinnati too.
That only leaves Paris, but who's to say Nadal can't win there either?

Max so close to getting all 9 at IW.

Can you add GS to those charts?

There's always a better page on wikipedia.
Just keep it updated, I like to take an occasional glance at your thread. I'm sure there are more MTF members who feel the same way!

A shame. I really liked your chart. Didn't you also have the number of different shields each had won also?

I really think Rafa could have 8 separate ones by the end 2009.
