i wonder if Marat speaks French? :confused: I mean he has an affinity for the place plus his friends with a lot of the french players like Di Pasquale, Grosjean, Escude and his coach. I'm sure he's picked up phrases over the years but i'm curious if he can actually speak it.

yeah! he can say "merci beaucoup" "oui" "bonjour"...and I read somewhere long time ago that Escude learned him some bad words.;)

I remember in RG 2002 against Ferrero...he said "la balle" and no "the ball"...and "filet! filet! filet!" instead of let.

I suppose that he understands: jeu, set et match Monsieur Safin! :banana:

I think all players from time to time teach each other words, but they're probably so bad, that they don't need to share that with people ;)
