I don't know how Federer is right now, but Marat looks very confident right now. I voted for him :yeah:

jazzy, do u know if Nally is gonna be the 2nd alternate for TMC? i really wanna see him play there and considering Moya, Coria and Federer are all doubtful, he could get in...

I pick marat. He is the only one playing well right now.

Plus Federer has doubts about playing so he must not be doing very well and I doubt he can recover in time to win the whole thing.

Don't count Henman out either. His great US Open run was o the same surface and he will be one of the crowd-favourites as he is 1 of the 3 "English" speakers! He has good records against Roddick, Safin. Gaudio etc and although Federer got the better of him last time, Tim might have more of a chance this time because of Roger's injury. If Mac puts Henman in the same part of the draw as Hewitt then i will slash his Mattresses!!!

Favourites to win TMC are, by this order:

1. Federer
2. Safin
3. Roddick
4. Hewitt
5. Henman
6. Moyá
7. Alternate (lol)
8. Gaudio
9. Coria

No Frooty - David won't go to Houston this year. His coach said today that he is still suffering from the leg injury incurred in Basel and isn't 100% fit, so they are going to "sacrifice" the chance to play Houston to concentrate on getting fit and strong for 2005.

Marat is playing really well and if he continues like this while in Houston, then I think that he is the man to beat. As well as Federer too, if he feels 100% then either one of them will win. Lets hope to have a final between them.

I dont think the surface will suit Safin so I dont think his the favourite. Hopefully Gaudio wins.
