OK, If you want to post anything about John Isner, like his matches, tournaments, injury ect. please write it on this thread because I'm new to this site and I would like to write messages about how John is doing right now and I'm not quite sure where to write it... I'll start this off;

John will be trying to defend his Title in Winston-Salem this week, but it is tougher this year, with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Tomas Berdych making their debuts. He will start off his campaign today at noon against Klizan. John has been playing well ever since Newport (where he defending his Title for the first time in his career), even though I believe he will win this match, he will have trouble in later rounds. For example, if John and Melzer both win, I believe they will go up against each other (if I am wrong, I am sorry, I haven't had a good look at the draw). I didn't even know who Melzer was until Memphis this year, where he defeated John. I didn't watch this match but I did watch the Final of Memphis, where he defeated Milos Raonic :( and he steped in when returning the serve. Both John and Milos are great servers and I think that was the problem for John and Milos going up against him (standing in when returning). However, I did watch Quarrey vs Melzer at Toronto and Sam played well! :) So I'm not sure what will happen! John should understand him now and not let him step in on serve!
BEST OF LUCK TO JOHN! DEFEND YOUR TITLE! <3
PS. Sorry for the long post!

John defeated Klizan 4-6, 6-3, 7-5 yesterday at Winston-Salem! NO TIEBREAKS!
Not the result that I thought it would be, but I'm just happy that John has won his first match and will now meet Jurgen Melzer. Not too happy about this! Melzer has beaten John TWICE! Both in Memphis, one in 2008 6-7(8), 6-3, 7-6(4) and one this year, 6-3, 7-6(6).
I'm gonna be honest, I'm scared! I don't know what will happen, however, Melzer has been off lately while John has been playing well. All we can do is hope!
BEST OF LUCK JOHN! :)
PS. Sorry, I posted the wrong time John was gonna be on court yesterday! :(
He will be on Centre Court, not before 7.00pm, local time

YES! GO JOHN! Never should have worried! But now I'm really worried! John beat Jurgen Melzer yesterday 6-4, 6-3, great score. Only needed 1 break per set to get the job done but had 9 break point chances! Needs to improve on that!
I'm worried about David Goffin, John's next opponent! I first saw him play against Great Britain this year at the Davis Cup and I knew there was something about this guy that makes him dangerous. He took a set off Federer at the French Open! John will be on Centre Court not before 7.00pm, local time.
BEST OF LUCK JOHN, YOU'RE GONNA NEED IT!

John said;
"I played well. I served well. I felt my second serve especially well, "It was just a break each set, a lot of time in my matches that’s all it takes. I would’ve liked to have converted more break points, I was 2 of [9], so gotta improve a little bit there. Overall, I’m very happy with the match and very happy that I’m still alive"
We're happy your alive too John! :)

PS. US Open draw will be out today, I think between 12.00pm and 1.30pm, local time. John is Seeded 9th
