TMC Doubles. Oli/Xavier qualified :)

from www.masters-cup.com

" .. If Llodra and Santoro finish in the top seven after next week’s BNP Paribas Masters in Paris, Malisse and Rochus will qualify as the highest-ranked Grand Slam champions not in the top seven, provided they drop no further than 20th in the ATP Doubles Race. "

right now, only Damm/Suk, Etlis/Rodriguez and Arthurs/Hanley can challenge LLodra/Santoro 6th place in the race. If two of them do it O. Rochus/Malisse are out of Houston.

Any idea about Santoro's injury? Is Olivier injured?

They're in :bounce:

I would love Rochus/Malisse to play Houston doubles together, hopefully do well there -follow up their success in Paris!
How much have they been playing since then, together?

Does anyone know the points-breakdown for doubles at Paris-Bercy?

isn't it the same as in singles (with less rounds)? that's what I seem to read here http://www.atptennis.com/en/players/raceleaderboard/rank_definitions.asp#doubles

Doubles draw has two rounds less than singles. It's a 16 team draw. 2nd round is QF

They're in :rolls: :rolls: Etlis/Rodriguez and Arthurs/Hanley lost in 1st round. No matter what Damm/Suk do at Paris, Santoro/Llodra will be in the top seven after Paris, so Xavier/Oli are in as best GS winners in top 20. :yeah:

With Gaston Etlis/Martin Rodriguez and Paul Hanley/Wayne Arthurs out in 1st round. Rochus and Malisse make TMC as Santoro and Llorda can only bump as low as 7.

That's great news! Adds interest to what would have been a very predictable and less exciting group of teams. Go Belgium! :yeah:

Excellent!

I can't wait to see them play together again! I hope they won't feel too much pressure. They're way better if they play without pressure and just want to have some fun...

Good luck, boys!! :bounce:  :bounce:
