Polansky complained on Olivetti's serve skills last week and now that he got on opponent who can't serve... he's done this

beautiful place for holiday :awww:

some good players here, agreed... would love korolev to win  seems he's developing some consistency

Naso in great form as of late. The Recanati fail definitely had a lot to do with that weekend's result. If he gets past Bautista (likely IMO), a really good shot at making another final unless he stumbles upon an inspired Korolev.

Pedro Sousa won. Jouan retired at 4-6. Be careful, he can surprise here. ;)

07-26-2012, 08:51 PM
Viola just lost the first set 2-6 to a guy i never heard of

07-26-2012, 09:08 PM
Horrible serving, just made 2 DF basically to give the game away. As usual relies very much on his opponents mistakes, but Angelinos so far made very little and Viola simply doesn't have the arsenal to overpower him. Probably will lose, though he has a great record winning in 3 sets.

07-26-2012, 09:26 PM
angelinos was a set and break up, wasnt he?

07-26-2012, 09:29 PM

It probably has more to do with the change of surface

07-26-2012, 09:30 PM
yes. with the finish line in sight he seems to have collapsed. and/or viola finally got his act together

07-26-2012, 09:35 PM
angelinos was a set and break up, wasnt he?

yes 6-2 3-1

and of course viola can't serve it out. silly dropshot at 30-30 and DF on BP.

07-26-2012, 09:59 PM
Angelinos level dropped and Viola started serving better, now seems like his usual grinding it out somehow in 3 sets.

Naso can't make this even barely competitive. Bautista really silenced the crowd.

What's the reason for Korolev's retirement?

Bautista crushed Lajovic 6-3 6-1 and took the title. It's the second challenger title of the year for Roberto, both on clay in Italy, and also a new career high-ranking for him next week, around 111 in the world. Now it's time to make the top-100 with a good performance in Pozoblanco :yeah:
