As for Marco's demolition by Brown, there was simply nothing that Marco could do. He is pretty poor on grass, but it wouldn't have mattered. Dustin served amazingly well and went for broke on every single shot. And 80% of those shots were right on the money. He hit the returns impressively early, and was in almost all of Marco's service games. The only thing Marco did poorly this match was serve, but other than that he simply wasn't given the chance to get in the rhythm. Brown's was by far the single most impressive performance of the day. He (and the likes of Ram, Van Der Merwe) is the reason we need more grass court tennis, because a whole different array of skills becomes pertinent. The problem for Dustin though is that if he has an offday, he would lose something like 3-6 2-6 2-6 tomorrow. There is never a Plan B.
