It's Time! We Need A Davis Cup Nickname!

The Aussie Fed Cup team have recently adopted the Cockatoos as their team nickname and I think it is time our Davis Cup team gets an official nickname. Below is a list of the current nicknames taken:

Boomers (Basketball - Mens)
Cockatoos (Tennis - Womens)
Diamonds (Netball - Womens)
Dolphins (Swimming - Mixed)
Hockeyroos (Hockey - Womens)
Joeys (Soccer - Mens u17)
Kangaroos (Rugby League - Mens)
Kookaburras (Hockey - Mens)
Matildas (Soccer - Womens)
Olyroos (Soccer - Mens u23)
Opals (Basketball - Womens)
Socceroos (Soccer - Mens)
Wallabies (Rugby Union - Mens)

I don't think Tennisroos really works at all but in keeping with the roos theme I think the Racquetroos could work. What do you guys think? I think it is definitely time for a nickname. If enough people agree with the Racquetroos (or any other suggestion) then we can start spreading the word and let Tennis Australia know. Lets make this happen!

this is a good idea! i never really noticed that we didnt have a davis cup or fed cup team name like the rest of the national teams until the fed cup girls somehow came up with cockatoos, so now i think we definately need name for davis cup! yeah racquetroos is better than tennisroos, the best i could think of with "roos" at the end was Volleyroos... haha

I think its a great idea, but the cockatoos? Is terrible, all the good names are taken it seems!
