Halle R2: Federer def. Mayer 6-4, 7-5habibko 06-14-2012, 05:09 PM good start to the grass season, onwards and upwards Roger :rocker2: STUHL 06-14-2012, 05:10 PM Great grass Match, will be tough against Raonic! Tennis-Life 06-14-2012, 05:10 PM Fed doesnt care about tennis anymore henke007 06-14-2012, 05:11 PM Solid match avoided tiebreaks and served 11 aces. castle007 06-14-2012, 05:11 PM Your thread was first. Unfortunately, I couldn't watch the match. I was just following the scoreline. Is Federer playing well? And is he really playing Raonic next?? O.o alter ego 06-14-2012, 05:12 PM Fed doesnt care about tennis anymore Why do you say that? I thaught he played well today. Looner 06-14-2012, 05:13 PM Fed played well. Hilarious how people expect him to turn Super Saiyan Fed for R2 in Halle... He still needs to own ND and RN at Wimbledon. Roamed 06-14-2012, 05:13 PM Pretty good, better than his last two matches at RG. Roddick's unlucky loss in Queens really enforced for me how amazing it is that Fed is still at the top of the game, Roddick is younger than him even. Orange Wombat 06-14-2012, 05:15 PM Fed looks relaxed. I was wondering if he was still worn out mentally from RG. Florian also looks good. Sapeod 06-14-2012, 05:16 PM Back to the good old grasscourts. Tennis is looking up this year now. Good win for the King of tennis :yeah: Tennis-Life 06-14-2012, 05:17 PM Why do you say that? I thaught he played well today. this level of tennis is not enough to beat Nadal and Djokovic on grass, thats why i am not happy mate. martinatreue 06-14-2012, 05:18 PM I was impressed with the forehand struck at 172 kmh!!! SheepleBuster 06-14-2012, 05:18 PM Pretty good, better than his last two matches at RG. Roddick's unlucky loss in Queens really enforced for me how amazing it is that Fed is still at the top of the game, Roddick is younger than him even. Roddick has been awful for years kiriri*** 06-14-2012, 05:19 PM Great grass court tennis:bounce: Federer:yeah: GL against Raonic Mayer:hug: ahadabans 06-14-2012, 05:21 PM Should Rafa and Roger meet in the final of Halle... Would you guys be happy about that? I feel like I'd rather see them play each other for the first time on grass since 2008 at this upcoming Wimbledon. We have been denied a rematch of their 2008 battle for years now. That was an exceptionally close affair too. Probably the greatest match I've ever watched. Pratik 06-14-2012, 05:22 PM this level of tennis is not enough to beat Nadal and Djokovic on grass, thats why i am not happy mate. Relax. First match on grass, he will improve. Halle #6 coming up soon. FedvsNole 06-14-2012, 05:23 PM I was impressed with the forehand struck at 172 kmh!!! Is this for real.....Thats about 107 mph. Did federer hit this... Damn! martinatreue 06-14-2012, 05:27 PM Is this for real.....Thats about 107 mph. Did federer hit this... Damn! Well that is what it said on the TV broadcast I watched. It was a big shot but I don't know if some sort of independent body confirms these speeds to be honest. I am only posting what the tournament radar gun showed on the TV broadcast. Corey Feldman 06-14-2012, 05:32 PM dont know who is the better returner thesedays, Fed or Isner cutesteve22 06-14-2012, 05:35 PM decent win for Roger, good luck next round :bigclap: Roger the Dodger 06-14-2012, 06:10 PM Should Rafa and Roger meet in the final of Halle... Would you guys be happy about that? Both would prefer it. Li Ching Yuen 06-14-2012, 06:14 PM This is the kind of form that will bring Federer Wimbledon, Olympics and Cincinnati in succession. Crisp, unforgiving and jaw-dropping from the guy that both Nadal and Djokovic will be scared to face from now on. Abu Dhabi or not. nick the greek 06-14-2012, 06:28 PM Fed played well. Hilarious how people expect him to turn Super Saiyan Fed for R2 in Halle... He still needs to own ND and RN at Wimbledon. The Bulldog Nose to own RN and ND?Take those pills of yours regularly. FedvsNole 06-14-2012, 06:33 PM Fed hopefully re-peaks as he gets closer to wimbledon second week. Glad his due shit form came in roland garros where he wasn't winning anyways. Thats about as bad as fed plays during a slam. Likely he will go up from there as all his attacking shots will be rewarded on grass especially his serve and his backhand now is like a weapon since it will stay low especially with the slice. Federer just needs his serve back which he should by the second week of wimbledon. And avoiding a berdych, tsonga wouldn't hurt although i prefer tsonga still to berdych anyday. If nadal and fed makes it to the finals. Fed needs that win to get a boost in confidence. We all know fed will be on nole side of draw book it. Hian-GOAT 06-14-2012, 06:35 PM Funky Flo :sobbing: :bigcry:  viruzzz 06-14-2012, 07:25 PM Fed played a good match. Mayer was in the match too, he played well too. Some great points for both during the match. DAT GRAZZ! Now Raonic, difficult match. samanosuke 06-14-2012, 07:27 PM Fed is the only guy who can outfunk the funky flo Allez 06-14-2012, 07:32 PM Mh... Fujee 06-14-2012, 07:36 PM Hard luck funky, nice one God. habibko 06-14-2012, 09:04 PM 2GquQZtMtvA djokovicgonzalez 06-14-2012, 09:09 PM Mayer lost one point on serve the 2nd set until he served to stay in it :spit: he's become more and more mentally weak Federer's return is terrible. FedvsNole 06-14-2012, 10:02 PM Clownga not looking good for wimbledon falilng on his finger. Hope for a speed recovery for that guy. Roger just needs to avoid berdych and he should hopefully be in the semis. http://espn.go.com/tennis/story/_/id/8052558/jo-wilfried-tsonga-injures-finger-queen-club-loss Topspindoctor 06-15-2012, 12:21 AM Expected. Olderer even at 5% is too much for Mugyer. Waiting eagerly for another Fedal final, we are overdue for another one. All these clowns are  pray-for-palestine-and-israel 06-15-2012, 07:51 AM did i mention i am not happy with the goat legend Mercury 06-15-2012, 08:08 AM Looks like Fed stayed in 2nd gear the whole match and still won it easily... Can't complain. Today he has a much bigger test. Gillouthe best 06-15-2012, 11:55 AM Good effort from Flo, very nice dropshots, Fed was average, really bad on return till the end of each sets. | |
