They have faced each other twice. Grisha won their first meeting at Eastbourne last year 6-3, 6-2. Anderson then won in San Jose last February 2-6, 7-6(5), 7-6(3).

Anderson's movement on this surface is laughable. He gave Lopez a lot of openings in his service games too, so I'd expect Dimitrov to take advantage and win two sets.

Grisha in two. Probably a similar scoreline to today.

Grigor moves a lot better than Andersson and has more variety to his game, he just needs to read Andersson's serve well. Given how Grigor played today, he can take this in straight sets.

The draw is wide open now. It's time to step up Grigor.

Anderson has a huge serve.

Muller has a big serve also; Dimi handled it well and played an almost perfect tiebreak. And after some really impressive tennis from him today against Mahut, I'll be surprised if he doesn't take it in two.

Amazing the number of people completely writing the much higher ranked player off. It's not as if Grisha has the record to warrant this much optimism. Talent alone doesn't win you matches...Grisha knows this better than most.

You've bet against Grigor each round and you've been wrong every time.

Of course people are optimistic but that is because they hope he does well and has a breakthrough at this tournament. Whether you like him or not, he's good for the game and you can bet the tournament organisers will be hoping he wins tomorrow.

Allez, can you take your high-and-mighty attitude out of this thread. You're really a depressingly annoying poster and you seem to be posting against all my favs.

I do agree Anderson is probably favourite but Grigor has proven he can handle big servers and if you've actually watched him, he read Mahut's serve quite well. I am optimistic (although I did bet on Anderson as a precaution :p) he can take it in 3.

:bs: WTF Are you talking about  I didn't pick Reynolds to beat Grisha in the 1st round. Didn't vote on that thread. I picked Grisha to beat Muller in the 2nd round.

Oh god what a crappy draw for Dimitrova. I want Murray to win this tournament but I will not enjoy watching him toy around with Grisha so early in the tournament. I'm assuming Dimi will live up to his potential and move past Muller. A huge assumption to make. This generation is well and truly stuffed is not even funny anymore.

So please stop telling porkies ;)

It's good that you've decided to come out and admit how much of failure your predictions are. A good gesture but you have to do way better than that.

It's sad to see Queens being reduced to MM tournament, no better than some obscure south american clay events. Back in the good old days we saw Nadal/Djokovic in the finals with other top players actually giving a shit.

It's sad to see a 27 old guy only hating in threads on a tennis forum as well.

Anderson Vs Cilic will be a very good final, with probably 3 tie breaks...

Everyone I kind of like in the tourney seems to be out, along with most of the favorites, so I think and hope Grigor can make a deep run here. Commmooooooooon Grisha!
