Very surprised. Didn't think he'd bother. He definitely needs matches under his belt.

good on him.

He needs it, he played pretty bad against ERV, though ERV played well too. though his seeding will be down to Kohli, If Kohli beats Nadal, Roddick will be unseeded, assuming Nadal beats Klizan.

Looks like Roborod is serious about Wimbledon. Watch out guys.

Here's another one if Nalbandian wins queens, Roddick will be unseeded.

Nice move Andy, you know you're not gonna be too tired because you're not winning any matches...

Roddick didn't play super bad, well his baseline rallies were really bad, However, i think he would have beaten most of the players if he didn't face ERV who wasn't missing at all til the last games of the second set.

Good decision, IMO. He needs match practice. Hopefully a couple of wins and then a solid performance at his perhaps last Wimbledon!

Gasquet vs. Roddick !!!

mooncreek

Smart move. He needs the matches.

Oh and if Roddick draws Gasquet, Roddick should just accept that everything is conspiring against him and move on.

Hopefully he's also hired Goran Ivanisevic as his coah for the next 4 weeks. Good decision to accept the WC.

Ridiculous hater. I hope Roddick manages to win a few matches. He does not deserve to go into the sunset like that. Come on, Roddick.

Still hasn't won a match since beating Federer in Miami.

Crazy world.

There are two explanations for that:

1--> After Miami, there was something called clay season, you know... Andy and clay season aren´t exactly best buddies.

2--> He´s simply past it. Whether clay, grass, hard, soft, fast, slow, or whatever courts there are, he´s looking awfully bad.

Only if his career ended tomorrow. He's a shell of his former self, but he's not that useless.

I believe it's 6. If I remember correctly, he lost to Monaco in Miami
Berdych, Berlocq, and I think Soeda in Dusseldorf
Mahut at RG
and now ERV at Queens...

We´re talking about top players here ;)

Surely there are worse records out there, but for a top player, or former top player, 10 straight losses were quite shocking.

156mphserve
06-14-2012, 11:26 PM
well it's easy for a former top player to go on a losing streak. Imo as bad as Roddick is now it's posintless to consider it a streak by a top player, he's just as bad as Spadea and Golubev was

his fat body was a weapon for his serve but the rest of his game was ruined by the huge body weight and tendonitis ... his family is fat so he knew he was going to humiliate himself. pinhead is almost halfway to spadea's loss record. dick had escaped match point in sj 1st match and choked on match point in delray beach too. pinhead was supposed to lose 2003 us open. he was in need of banishment from sports and any rewards of trophy girls and wealth when he spread federer bs propaganda in 2004

brian baker looks more beautiful everyday. he deserves more fame than arrogant dick

Slightly embarrassing gloating from the Ducktards considering the legends who he beat in the tournament, combined with 2 retirements and a guy hitting 30UEs in the final.

NID from Tangy as usual.

Well, I am happy Roddick proved these ridiculous haters wrong. A title's a title. If Ferrer's title counts, so does Roddick's. I hope he pulverises Jamie Baker at Wimbledon, so we can rest assured he would not have done better http://i42.tinypic.com/21e97pk.png.
