Decent performance, nothing more, nothing less. Served well and never had to get out of second gear, but mixed his game up well and hit some big forehands as always.

Good start, given the circumstances.

Couldn't watch it, damn!
Okay, Murray isn't anymore in the draw, I think Jo has the biggest chance ever.

I hope Jamie relished the occasion, as he won't have many more opportunities like this. 2R at an ATP event might well be his career peak.

He's a nice guy, but he is really not anything more than a lower-level Challenger player.

Baker played as well as he could but he isn't in Tsonga's league. Just watching the interviews and Andrew Castle must be the worst interviewer on the planet.

He'd have a great shot regardless of Murray.

Cannot see anyone else but Tsonga take the title here.

Murray has never been a contender.

He is good as Sarah Jessica Porker.

I'd say qualifying for AO '08 is his best result (that and reaching the final of the Waikoloa Challenger in '07). He's finally reached the top 200 with this win, anyway :hatoff:

You're right, playing Grand Slams is bigger than this. Also his Wimbledon WCs.

But still it's nice to win a Tour-level event in your own country (even if it's not Scotland :p). I'm happy for him, but Top 200 is not where he belongs IMO.

I really liked Tsonga's RG performance. I hope that he can dig deep at Wimbledon.
