Too bad, but it's hard to win against a serve bot on grass, especially someone of Olli's height. Did well to make it as close as he did as he had to save break points early in the second set to prevent a total runaway, but the physically-aided difference in serve/power were too much to overcome.
Querrey has had some strong results here in the past, this is a good win for him to start another run in Queens.

Wow I was surprised Rochus came back and almost completely turned the match around! After Querrey was up 6-1, I think it was the first game second set he had 15-40 on Rochus serve, then Rochus only proceeded to lose 5 points on his serve the rest of that 2nd set. And Rochus then ended up having 15-40 on Querreys serve at the start of the 3rd! Good serving from Querrey of course and scoreboard pressure of serving to stay in match was too much for Rochus I guess, maybe a few big returns in that last game who knows.
I hope Istomin can hold on against big server to face Querrey, that'd be a fun match imo

Sam served his way into winning. A normal player, Olli would likely have broken to start the third set and won. Querrey hit like three aces from 15-40 his first service game of the third set to hold. I hate that type of shit. Hopefully Istomin sends his ass out of this event.

Nice to see the grass season begin.

Ollie is such a fighter, yet he lacks the ability to win free points  Now that he is older, he is losing all the time :hysteric:

Good to see grass play begin. I feel like Querrey should have won this more easily though.
rochus had a big chance 1st game of 3rd but sam hit 4 aces in a row
still a very good effort from him, sam is hard to bt at queens.
