Tougher than it needed to be, but a win is a win. Grigor had a double break lead in the second set which he lost completely, but managed to break again at 5 all after failing to close out the match the previous game. Reynolds saved 11/15 BPs in the match, but struggled too much on serve to win.

Good to see Grigor get his first win of the year on grass. He should have closed it out earlier but he broke back as soon as he lost his serve and closed it out easily after that. Muller could be tough in the next round with his big serve but I think Grigor can win it. A match against Murray in the 3rd round would be an exciting prospect.

I didn't realise there was a stream for this match. How can you comment on it's quality?

I was at this match, Dimi's talent and Baby Fedishness was actually on full display today. Unfortunately this even included Fed-like random mental lapses to give up breaks when serving for matches. But despite this it never felt like he would not win in 2 and he got the job done pretty easily. Yeah, there were a lot of UEs, but also some really nice clean winners, especially in the final game. Reynolds really didn't push him, but Dimitrov was still playing very entertaining tennis and he looked really relaxed. Some really sweet backhands. He is such a fun player to watch.

finally got round to hiding that tedious **** Hian. no idea what took me so long. bye bitch as one of her (please say it's a her) cretinous gifs might suggest.

grass should be dimitrov's best surface by a distance. i don't particularly like him but it would be nice to see one of the younger generation rise above mediocrity for a change.

Thanks for the report on the match. I was disappointed there was no live feed so it's good to hear he played well.

Oh god what a crappy draw for Dimitrova. I want Murray to win this tournament but I will not enjoy watching him toy around with Grisha so early in the tournament. I'm assuming Dimi will live up to his potential and move past Muller. A huge assumption to make. This generation is well and truly stuffed is not even funny anymore.

dont pen grigor in past muller. His return game sucks and gilles is better on the surface then grigor so i'd call gilles the favorite in that one
