Tim's gonna love that draw, considering the hard time he's having against Jiri right now.

I guess that 7th place in Houston will come down to the matches in the second quarter. Someone should let Henners know what his Bercy draw is now (ie potential Agassi quarterfinal). He really must beat Novak tonight.

One of the worst draws ive ever seen in my life...
the whole top half loaded with the favs (except safin)
2nd quarter: henman, agassi, haas, j.johansson, novak, srichaphan, youzhny ...... ohh please :o
only good news for henman is, agassi will have a tough time just making it to the QF :help:

here is why

2001 Lyon, Carpet, S
France Carpet S Ljubicic 7 6 6 7 6 7
2001 US Open, Hard, R64
NY, U.S.A. Hard R64 Safin 7 6 6 7 7 6 7 6

Sweden's Joachim Johansson pulled out of the tournament and is replaced on the main draw by Mariano Zabaleta. The Argentine is replaced by Marc Giquel in the qualies.

Oh my God, Tommy could have Agassi yet again in the 2nd round, that sucks. I hope Andre wins Stockholm and is tired for Paris. That's a much much better draw than Madrid - can't wait to go.

COME ON TOMMY!!!!!!!!!

pimpim was seeded and WD, any chance they will move the draw around a little bit?
or some1 just takes pimpim's place (without playing R48 match) ?

i already posted it above :

he pulled out before qualies begon so he's replaced with an alternate, and not a lucky loser

Escude is right. Whoever is ranked after Novak should become 17th seed and take JJ's place in the draw, and his place should go to Zabaleta.

That's what happened, Spadea is 17th seed now and Zabaleta plays Paradorn

Because Moya pulled out, Haas moves up to 18th seed in his place. and I guess Llodra will play a LL now?

Yes, and that means Agassi gets a break from this as he would have had to play Haas in the 2nd rd.

good Carlos withdrew before tourn started, better than a LL getting a bye into r2
at least it makes the bottom half more interesting with Tommy there as well.

Agassi must be pissing his pants with laughter, all of a sudden a tough draw with Haas and Pimpim has opened up into a easy walk into the QF for him :(

doesn't matter for Andre - if he's tired he can lose to anyone, especially a tricky player like Llodra

I was thinking...
Has any argentine player ever been to the QF of paris TMS before...

What a draw
Top half is much stronger than bottom half, esp Agassi's quarter is very strong which is not good as he needs to do well to qualify :fiery:

Good luck:

Hicham Arazi
Dominik Hrbaty
Paradorn Srichaphan
Fernando Verdasco
Andre Agassi
Gaston Gaudio
Mario Ancic
Marat Safin
Tommy Robredo
